  1. Hi Master Lee, We'd recently been recommended a FengShui Master (from China) to do an analysis on our house and as the analysis was done in Chinese, while most of my pre-reading of FengShui was in English, I have some doubts/questions that I am still puzzled with and I hope that you can help clear my mind. The analysis was done, assuming, using 8 Mansion method as what the master did was measuring the Centre-point of our house and then getting the location/direction of our maindoor, and each and every rooms. He wasn't into Flying Star. The master did not use any Gua #, just telling us that we falls under which Group, what Element. #1 - Both my husband and me are Gua #2, which he mentioned falls under the West Group, Earth Element. For our son, we have calculated from the Gua Calculator that he is Gua#1, which the Master told us that he is falls in the Kan Palace East Group Earth ... but isn't Kan Gua = Water element? He used some Chinese terms that I was not able to match what I read in the books. He said that both my husband and myself are "Da Yi Tu" while our son is "Cheng Tou Tu", I have problem associating these terms with the English Books that I read. Too bad the Master is not familiar with English, so we couldn't clarify further on this. My understanding is that this "Da Yi Tu" terms is called "Na-Ying"? How is this associates with our Gua Element? If my son is under Kan Gua, which is Water Element, why the FengShui master said that my son has no water element (even in his BaZi)? Isn't the water element counted? #2 - Looking at our house plan and plotting the directions, our master bedroom seemed to be located in the East, but the Master said that it is located in the North East, which is our ShengChi directions. From his plotting, most of the directions of the other rooms are per what I read on the compass, but for our bedroom, it looks to be more East than NorthEast, and when we clarified with him again, he said, so long as the degree did not fall on East, it is still North East .. ???? *PUZZLED* .. as both my husband and myself are West Group people, North East & East are our Good and Bad direction respectively, so, it actually made alot of difference whether our room is East or NorthEast. Can help to enlighten? #3 - As our room, in fact, most part of our house, are full of wood furnishing (Earth element, suitable for us), from teakwood flooring, to teakwood veneer laminates for our wardrobe, to the doors and our built-in doors (to cover the recess area under our windows), the Master mentioned that it could be "overpowered" with earth, so suggested that we lessen it by having blue curtain/bedsheets. We do not really understand whether the blue is meant as an element to soften the earth effect, or it is supposed to be used to just soften the feeling of room. (Unable to clarify further as he is currently not available) #4 - Our analysis was not done based on Flying Star Method as the Master does not practice with this method. (Not his preferred method), so we are just wondering if we should try to look at Flying Star to compliment the method used by the Master? Financially, its not possible for us to engage another Master, so we are hoping that we can gain some enlightenment from you. I have attached the floor plan and the location map of my apartment. The facing of the whole apartment is SW3, and as that's the entrance way from the Multi-Storey Carpark, and there is a Shelter from CarPark to Apt, we are considering that as the main entrance. If you know HDB flats, there is no particular entrance. The lift facing is behind the rubbish dump. #5 - I have attached a floor plan with the 9-grid drawn, kindly advise if I have drawn them right? looking at my room, almost 1/3 falls in NE and another 2/3 falls in E, so, what section does my bedroom fall in? I do apologise for having so many request, but I believe a local FengShui master like you will be able to help me on my queries as many FengShui master in the region may not be so familiar with our HDB layout. Greatly appreciate your kind attention. Thanks Jenn
  2. Dear Cecil, I am glad to find this informative site ... and I am slowly trying to digest all these information on Fengshui. I need some help in plotting my natal chart and I am not sure if I am right with my Compass Direction, and not sure if I am doing it the right way. I have attached my floor plan and what I have done was plotting the centrepoint of my house and getting the facing direction. Using the floor plan, I took the readings for the front door. This is a Period 7 house. I have also included the map of my area, showing my building location. Not sure if it is necessary, but both my husband and my Kua's number is #2. Let me know if I have done right, if not, how to do it right. PS : I was unable to attach the files due to the size limitation. By shrinking the file may make it unreadable. Please advise how other way should I send them? Thanks. Appreciate your help. Thanks Jenn
