Should there be changes for the Southern hemisphere?

Can anyone tell me whether there should be any changes made to the elements etc for people living in the southern hemisphere. My personal feeling is that there should be changes and they are as follows.
North - Fire - Midday - Summer
West - Metal - Afternoon - early autumn
South west - Soil - Late afternoon - Autumn
South - Water - Evening - Winter
East - Tree - Sunrise - Spring.

A few traditional Feng Shui Masters have stated their views that there
should not be any changes with respect for people living in the Southern

I agree with his opinion that there should not be any changes made as the
calendar system of finding a person's `true' element and overall strength of
the element e.g. strong water, neutral water and weak water.
