Karen_Writer
I was wondering if anybody here is a feng shuiconstultant or if you ever paid a feng shui consultantto consult your house. I was just wonderingwhat they do,and if they provide supplies to buysuch as crystals or mirrors? Or, do they justsuggest new ways to make your house better?I was thinking about having a feng shui consultantbut was wondering if I should just read a fungshui book instead. I'm having a hard time to find outwhere my career section is. Also, did anybodybuy Steven Post's feng shui book? I wanted to try his wealth trick.Karen
metal
In May last year I engaged a FS Consultant to audit both home and office. It was initially a phone contact where she requested the DOB of all members of the house. She then did Pillars of Destiny charts. Once these were done an appointment was arranged a week later and she then visited home and office with her Luopan to check house direction, landscape etc. etc.She then in the house moved some furniture, pot plant here and there, in fact she did not do much to the house as the FS is good. The business though, another matter. Had to paint walls, purchase windchimes, move furniture, buy pendulum clock . Business improved for a few months then went bad. I had found Geomancy Net by then and Cecil and Robert did a chart for me and things just changed quite dramatically. It is very important to get an experienced FS consultant. My lady was good. She has been trained by one of the Masters in HK. But eh, what can I say, the Lee brothers were better.Glyn
Administrator
Dear Karen,I had previously written a short write-up of how a traditional Feng Shuiaudit isconducted especially in the Far East. If you like to review the material,go tothis URL: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/fsaudit.htmIn this short review, I also highlighted that the review in this article isONLY a guideline. As Feng Shui Home Audits may vary with individual FengShui practioners. Before engaging a Feng Shui Auditor, always ask themquestions like which Feng Shui `technique' he/she is using. If the Feng Shui audit also provides you with a Pillars of Destiny reporte.g. for the whole family, you should also check how `deep' is the analysis. This is because some Geomancers merely take the day of birth and then saythat your `true' element is e.g. Fire. Some may look at the year, month and day elements to derive your `trueelement'.A most accurate Pillars of Destiny analysis takes into account two sets ofyour year, month, day and time elements) and then derive your `true element'plus the strength of the element. This may take some time to produce usingmanual methods and more importantly, the need for accuracy.Usually the FS practioner will not provide you with `crystals, mirrors'etc..Under the Eight Associations or commonly called the Eight Aspirations orLife Aspirations, ( in general) under the Trigram/KUA method, the careersector is at the North. Bear in mind that this method is of secondaryimportance. For example, a true Feng Shui analysis would first " take care "of any issues under the most important FS theory called the Flying Starwhich takes account of time dimension.Next, you can use the Pillars of Destiny in relation to your home i.e. therelationship of your `true' element e.g. Strong Fire and in relation to theelement of the house eg. South = Fire House. I will not cover therelationships as it has been covered adequately under other subjects inearlier messages or on the specific use of individual reports. Descriptionsof the many online tools can be found on www.geomancy-online.comOnce analysis using the above are completed i.e. either to enhancebeneificial ch'i or for fixes, after this, the rest are considered `luxury'.For example, you can then, see that if there is no `clash' in placing afountain at the North, which is suppose to be the Career sector, then goahead with it.-----Original Message-----From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'eight-house' suppressed suppressed>Date: Thursday, February 25, 1999 7:14 PMSubject: Feng Shui consultants Quote From: "Karen Clark" This message is sent from "eight-house" Mailing List.I was wondering if anybody here is a feng shuiconstultant or if you ever paid a feng shui consultantto consult your house.
