popeye
I forgot when the house was built. When we bought the house from the original owner in 1989, they said that they had replaced the roof three years before which I would assumed to be 1986. But, I just don't know if the previous owner actually replaced the roof as they claimed they did. In 1995, I had the kitchen done--replacing all kitchen cabinets, painting the kitchen walls, replaced countertops, took out old built-in gas range and bought new gas range and oven. Would this work in the kitchen qualify as major renovation which would allow me to pick period 7 as birth of house?I also replace the kitchen floor with new vinyl floor tiles. So for your case, it won'treally matter, as the date falls between the stated range. This means thatyour house like most recent houses will take period 7 influences.
