Kua Number for those born in Y2000

Hi Cecil
Have been pondering - what will be the kua number for people born in the year 2000 ?
For a male, will it be 0 + 0 = 0.
10 - 0 = 10, 1 + 0 = 1. Therefore all males are 1.Female you add 5, so will all females have kua of 5 ? Does'nt seem logical to me.

This is correct. Eight House Theory only takes into account the Year of
Birth. Thus, each year everyone in that year falls under that same kua. Only
thing you need to take note is that the Year is based on Luar Year and not
Solar Year. So there is a need to know the Lunar Year. It will apply even
for years 1900 or 2100 etc. Whether you use method 1 or method 2
calculation, both calculation will give you the same results! However, I
personally find method 2 much easier to use:) It is similar to the Luo Shu
calculation for each year. Every year have a different Luo Shu grid.
