Does the actual shape of the house have to be changed? Quote Thank YouIf you have things like knocking down walls in your home, changing the roof,or painting the ceiling of the entire house. Etc. This normally, means thatyou change the birth chart of the house. Especially so for houses which arein the Period 6. This would then change it to period 7 (if the renovation isdone before 2003). Otherwise it is period 8. If you are still in period 7then a renovation in this year should keep it in period 7. dorje1
Robert,Thank you again.Would installing French windows that extend out two feet change the birth date? I do not understand why painting the ceilings would change anything. (I am a house painter.)most grateful.Bill

I do notSorry, but can I carify, is it the entire house or just one portion of thehouse? For a brief summary, if you house is a period 7 house, and you make anychanges before 2003, it is still period 7. There will not be any changes. Ifyour house is built before 1984 then, making any changes could affect theflying star of the chart. Quote understand why painting the ceilings would change anything. (I am a housepainter.)If you paint the "entire" ceiling, it is sometimes treated as if you changethe entire roof. And the roof of the house is often considered the mostimportant part of the house.most grateful. Quote Bill
Administrator
Dear Bill,Any additions e.g. installing French windows would not change the birthdate.Yes, Feng Shui is very symbolic and painting the entire ceiling wouldsuggest that the birthdate will change. This technique is used by an expertFeng Shui practioner. A "novice" FS practioner may likely ask you toliterally remove the entire roof and put it back.Another example of Feng Shui is Sha. One principle is that if you cannot seeit, it no longer can harm the household. For example if one can see apointed corner of another house aimed at your window, if you install a blindor use a thick curtain and cannot see it, the Sha no longer becomes athreat.Warmest Regards,Cecil-----Original Message-----From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'flying-star' suppressed suppressed>Date: Thursday, May 13, 1999 3:07 AMSubject: House renovations?
