Or water & wood.- metal/water for weak water - wood for weak fireBy strengthening weak water which destroy fire, you will enhance water strengthen. Then having Wood, it exhaust water and give strength to weak fire. So this way, both benefit from it.However, this means you need to apply two different elements instead of one common binding element. This is quite usual for many scenarios as well.
