Directions of flying stars

Recommended Posts

Please could someone explain how a water star can be in the + direction and the mountain star in the -. Do we actually take separate readings for the front door and the rear of the house? In Lillian Toos' new book on Gardens she has a chart for a north facing door: A door facing N1- 337-352, The period is 7. Water star is North 3+ and the mountain star is South 2-. I have also seen it on Joseph Yus' audit example.
Thanks,Bill

Hi Bill,
I take it that when you say (+) direction and (-) , you mean yang (forward) and yin (reverse) paths taken by mountain and water stars. To be honest, it is quite hard to explain this task in an e-mail as there is a chart that you look at to determine the forward(yang) and reverse(yin) sequence of mountain and facing/water stars. A circle is divided into 24 mountains/sitting. And, each mountain is assigned a yin or a yang. If your house facing or sitting happens to fall into a yang category, then it follows a forward path. If it falls under a yin category, then it follows a reverse path.
Perhaps if it's not an urgent matter for you to learn it, maybe you can wait for Cecil's flying star course.

Dear Irene
You are so kind to answer my questions.
For example: My house was built In period 6 . I have a front door in NW2 door (320).So my sitting star is 7 forward /yang. My mountain star is 5.SE.because it is opposite of 7. Wouldn't it also be SE2 and be forward/yang? (5+, 6, 7+)
My confusion is in a period 7 front door. N1 (340) the sitting star is a 3 forward and the mountain star is 2 reverse. (2-, 7, 3+). Could you please explain why the 2 is reverse/yin.
Thank you,
Bill
