Administrator
Dear Dion,What is common with the Compass School of Feng Shui i.e. the Eight House andthe Flying Star and if we map our Heaven Luck using Pillars of Destiny arethat they have to be personalized to an individual. For the Shapes and Form School, it is more generalised Feng Shui. The Eight Aspirations or Life Aspirations is a " free for all ". Anyone canwrite a book about it and say that the romance corner is at the South Westwhile the Career is in the North. So, you will realise that if you are considering compass directions e.g.North, you should look at it under the Eight House Theory or the Flying StarTheory.Even in the Four Symbolic Animals Principle, it does not say that the backdoor facing North is bad. Under this theory, a water position behind thehouse is bad. It does not also imply that a backdoor at the North is bed.The only thing I like to relate about the North is that it is common inEurope or the West to consider North inauspcious. The reason is because mostchurches lie North to South and in the bible, it was mentioned (somewhere)that the North is the home of the devil. When rites are performed, priestsusually face the South. This has also to do with the Northern lights and the ozone problem in thenorth. In addition, the Chinese consider North East, the devil's gate. Whichis close to the North.Well, you should not worry too much about the North. What you need to do isat the North and North East sector, avoid planting too many trees. I knowwells are uncommon nowadays, but wells at the North, NE and SW are usuallyavoided. The reason is to avoid creating a yin environment (too many treesor too much water) at these locations. If you do not have the above, it is fine.Warmest Regards,Cecil-----Original Message-----From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'feng-shui-tips' suppressed 'feng-shui-tips' suppressed>Date: Sunday, June 13, 1999 2:48 PMSubject: If Back Door facing North Quote From: "Dion Ng" This message is sent from "feng-shui-tips" Mailing List.If my back door is facing North, is it bad?
