Desperate for Cures

I am an amateur in Flying Star theory. It's both fascinating and complex for a beginner.
My house Natal charts for period 7, main door in the 3rd SW sector shows a most unlucky room in the East having the base no.
5, a no 3 on the left(mountain star) and the no. 2 on the right (water star?) By right we should avoid this room, but it happens to be our bedroom and no other room for us to move to. There's a toilet in the sector. I read that fengshui is talking about cures to problems. What cures can I apply in this case?
3 months ago,I changed my young son's bed to a bigger one in this room and not long after he was hospitalized and been sick for more than a month. Is it because the East is the Grand Duke this year and I aroused it?
I have make enquiries before in this geomancy net and very satisfied with the helpful answers. So far I have not seen any questions left unanswered and I can see that much effort has been put into it. Thanks for this most interesting fengshui site. Yes, that is a pretty bad combination of Earth and Wood (All of which are inauspicious stars. This would mean sickness, misfortunte etc.
Try to use Metal element cures such as a string of 6 coins to hang at that direction. So as to reduce the Earth and destroy the Wood.
As your details of your elements are not made known to me, I can only apply cures to the stars.

May I enquire what are the stars in that room? And also what is the element of your son. It could be that he is located in a room which happens to be his unfavourable elements or that there is a sickness star found in the room.
What direction is that room?

Here in Perth it is not possible to get chinese coins with the hole in the centre in order to put the red ribbon through.
What do you suggest as an alternative ?

If you cannot obtain the chinese coins, any normal coins would also work.
You do not need to specially purchase them.
The number 6 is already Strong Metal, in addition the 6 coins are also metal
in nature, so they are the best cures for such a situation.
It is much better then using Wind Chimes, which we have told many times that
Wind Chimes. Wind Chimes have several elements in them and if you use the
wrong one it would be worse.

More questions for the Chinese coins:
Will any so-call Chinese calls that are round, with a square hole at the
middle serve the purpose? Or are there special ones?
When I tried to look around for the Chinese calls, I found some in the
shops that sell Chinese joss-sticks. They cost as cheap as thirty cents.
And I was told they are probably faked ones, as the real Chinese coins
would probably cost more. Apparently, those coins that I could find are
from the Ching Dynasty, as they have the Ching Emperor's names on one
of the faces.
Please enlighten.

I am assuming that your elements should be weak for both yourself.
If possible I suggest you shift your son to another room, because the strong
Earth influence is draining your son's Fire to produce more Earth.
Also make use of the 6 coins string together or taped together to reduce the
Earth influence. For you, you will be able to draw some of the inauspicious
Wood into your own Wood influence, so still ok. But still necessary to use
the 6 coins to reduce the Wood.
In addition, I suggest that you wear some water element colours such as
Blue, Black so that the Metal influence from the coins can be converted to
help your weak water. (Just a little will do)

Actually, in my eariler message I already mentioned, that the coins itself
are metal, in addition to that using 6 coins also represent Strong Metal, so
these are sufficient for cures. Do not need to specially find Chinese coins.
The logic in using the coins are above. Not so much the Chinese Coin
concept.
