How do we interpret the numbers of the Flying Star? Something like
#9 - fire
#8 - weak metal
.
.
.
etc
Does the numbers refer to the base or the MS / WS

It refers to all stars. They are founded because of the understanding of the
how the stars come about. Each of the stars has an element assocated with
the star. Without the understanding of this, you will not be able to
accurately determine the effects of the house.
