myfs_102500
I decided to take on a project of applying the principals to my bedroom however came across a problems when workign out my Kau Number. The problem I have is as follows.1 Quote What time zone do you take it from. I was born on Feb 6th 1978 at about 6:10pm. If it is taken from the UK time zone then I believe that this counts as 1977 as the New Year didnt start until the 7th Feb. However if you take it from the time in China then this could be 8 hours ahead and would make it 12:10 am on the 7th Feb (10 minutes into the Chinese New Year and mean that I have a whole different Kau number2I went on a few of these sites that will work out you number for you and alot of them seam to work differently when it comes to the start of the new year. Some say only substract a year if born before the 5th Feb and others say 20th or the 10th. As such I have been told that my Kau number is 4, 5 and in one case 2... what is it.As a final note, I have been sleeping with the crown of my head facing north for 2 years and I cant say that life is too bad, we all have problems but work is good, relationship fine, health normally ok. I changed the bed so that I was pointing east last night to experiment and I have a pretty poor nights sleep. Thought it might give you a clue..Please help
Staff Robert Lee Posted April 13, 2004 Staff Share Posted April 13, 2004 Dear Ross,Frankly, a lot of sites which you now see with Time Zone factors are actually created by Modern Feng Shui Masters. In fact, there was no such thing in traditional calcuation. The only true way you should apply timezone is not just by GMT factor, but truely to take the true location factor (ie long. and lat.). However, even this is very dangerous as if you just get one degree off, your analysis will be completely off by a great deal. From our experience, we find that you shouldn't waste too much time to factor in these GMT changes. Why?1. Most concepts are truely based on like YEAR of birth which by itself is already flawed in that it does not consider day or month of birth. So such concept like compass school are one such which thus give you only 4 good and 4 bad directions.2. Even for Ba Zi, though ti consider day and month, ultimately, the accuracy of the ba zi analysis is based on the month and year, which thus already give lots of variation for errors. Thus, even ba zi, if you do not use hour of birth, your chart can still be fairly accurate.3. Also, what you need to also understand is that many of these concepts are just one piece of theory out of several thousands of concept. Often the most important factor whether a house is good or not lies with the Shapes and Form of the external environment. So Eight House for example is used as a a foundation to let you know which direction is most suitable etc. This is one small factor out of the entire analysis.4. Often it is important to focus on a global picture of your house feng shui. When you do this, you will understand that Eight House is such a small factor in your house analysis. 5. We have done so many cases such that we find that frankly, there is no need to make any alteration to the analysis based on GMT, in fact it is much more accurate then factoring GMT or location factor for the very fact that one small error in the location factor makes the analysis way off the original analysis. In addition, GMT nowadays are so simplified, that it is no longer accurate indication at all.So our advice is for you to just use the analysis based on your local time. DO NOT apply any location factor into consideration. These will only make your analyses less accurate. So if you use our tools, just use your normal local time. This will work much better in the end result.Hope that helps.Warmest RegardsRobert Lee Quote On 4/8/2004 3:51:15 AM, Anonymous wrote:I decided to take on a projectof applying the principals tomy bedroom however came acrossa problems when workign out myKau Number.
