myfs_107566
We would like to put an old, unloaded rifle above our fireplace in cabin, but wondering if bad to have one. On our floorplan, the riflewould face either, family/wealth division line (*which is near our daughter's bedroom) or marriage/children area if turned it around - making me feel, I better just put a mirror (?) above it insteadORsilk flowers (?). Part of Feng Shui is common sense & a rifle would make me feel uncomfortable facing these areas - even though can be a safety feeling, too - but doesn't seem to work facing any direction. We have not purchased a rifle & will not, until hear back from you on your opinion. Thanks!
Staff Robert Lee Posted December 3, 2004 Staff Share Posted December 3, 2004 Dear Linda,Generally, a rifle is a form of sha qi. So generally, it isn't advisable to hang a rifle. Even if you wish to display a rifle, it would be better that it is kept inside a glass display where the rifle barrel at least inside the glass display. It will definately make more sense to have a picture or a flower ornament rather than to hang a rifle.Hope that helps.Warmest RegardsRobert LeeGEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research Quote On 12/3/2004 9:59:10 PM, Anonymous wrote:We would like to put an old, unloaded rifle above ourfireplace in cabin, butwondering if bad to have one.On our floorplan, theriflewould face either,family/wealth division line(*which is near our daughter'sbedroom) or marriage/childrenarea if turned it around -making me feel, I better justput a mirror (?) above itinsteadORsilkflowers (?).
