myfs_37545
I am planning to purchase a house. The houses I am seeing are all old houses built in 1970s but renovated in 1990s and I will be moving into the house in 2005. When I generate the report for house # which period should I give for "Enter the Year the house was built "?Thanks in advance and regards
Staff Robert Lee Posted December 12, 2004 Staff Share Posted December 12, 2004 Dear Radha,Generally, if the renovations are major (ie replacing roofs / hacking of walls / adding roomsetc), then your house would have moved to 1990s (period 7). Usually for houses that are old, it can be sometime hard to say for sure unless you know what have been done. But most likely for most old houses some major renovations would have taken place, so it is very likely that it would have moved to period 7 (1984-2003).Hope that helps.Warmest RegardsRobert Lee Quote On 12/12/2004 7:04:22 AM, Anonymous wrote:I am planning to purchase ahouse.
