Dear Sir,

Can you advise if ROM date is also considered as marriage date ?

Must ROM date be chosen carefully too? I heard that the traditional marriage ceremony's date needs to be chosen carefully, based on both parties' BA ZI. But what about ROM ?

Though I heard that this year is not so good for marriage, how about for ROM ? Is it okay for ROM this year ? I asked because I am planning to ROM this year in March.

Please advise if any difference between ROM date and marriage date.

Thank you.

Regards.

Generally,ROM is already considered a marriage date legally. However, most people are usually more concerned with the actual wedding date where all the traditional procedures are followed.

about ROM ?

This portion is really up to individual. Most will just focus on the actual wedding date while there are those who will look out for both date. Frankly, there isn't any harm in finding good dates for whatever events. But more important is the date for the traditional ceremony date that most look out for.

Generally, there is really no real good or bad year. All depends on individual. Of course, ideally you want to get married where the year does not clash with the bride or groom's animal sign for example. But in most cases, sometimes it is impractical to just postpone the wedding for couple of years just because of this.

Even in each year, there are good and bad months, as well as good and bad days. Nothing is perfect. So as long as you choose a date which is suitable to both person, without any clashes between the day and the year, then you should be fine

For us, in our wedding date analysis, we do the exact same analysis for ROM or wedding dates.

ie. make sure day and year does not clash.
ie. make sure element of day is suitable
ie. make sure that no major clashes / harms / punishment are present for each person.

So dates that are good can both be used for either ROM or wedding dates.

Hope that helps.

Hi Robert Lee,

Thanks for your reply !Razz

I am glad to hear your detailed explanations and feel a little at ease now.

I have actually booked the solemnization date at ROM on 18th March 2005. And my marriage is an international marriage. My future spouse is a Japanese and I am Singaporean. If I would like to check if this date is suitable for both of us(me & my future spouse), how can I do it through you?

How much do you charge ?

Hope to hear from you soon!

Thanks !

Regards.
