In order to answer that question, you will need to know what element you belong to and what is your 4 good and 4 bad direction. To get that answer use this free report to check out that is your element based on your date of birth:-

You want to choose a house that faces one of your 4 good direction (ie longevity/health/excellent/prosperity). You should avoid having a house facing Death or Disaster which are to be avoided at all cost if possible.

The most ideal facing direction is one where your eight house and Ba Zi drection both say suitable. ie strong water person, wood- East is good, and under eight house is East is Health, than East is the best direction for you.

Once the house suits you, then you should check the master bedroom to ensure that it is suitable to your eight house. Or if you have a spouse, then ensure that it fits your spouse.
