My kitchen worktop table is black colour.I have heard thattoo much red colour is not good feng shui for kitchen. Is this true ? If yes , what can I do about it ? Too much of any single colour isn't good. In feng shui, the idea is to create a balance and harmony. This means that you need to have a balance of all five elements. Only then will you get perfect harmony.In terms of a single room decoration, it is best to always have at least two or three elements. Preferably three elements, because it will create an auspicious five element flow. ie water - Quote wood -fire. As to your question. This is specially not a very good colour to have if your kitchen is located in the South or North-West. South because it is fire element. While North-West is heaven's gate, so too much fire here is like having fire at the heaven's gate.The only solutions here is to have some earthen pots (Earth that helps to exhaust fire).
