Will be much appreciateof your advice where is the best position of placing the urn of my mother-in-lawin the temple.By placing at the eye level is auspicious or above the head level or at the bottom. As I know by placing thediety it should be above our head level and how about the urn and where is the best facing. Hope you would give us asap.

Generally, the practical reason why you want to have the urn at the eye level is that it is much easier to see the photo and even place flowers. That is why the eye level position is the most sort after positions.


Given this is not a placement of deity, there is really no specific requirements. Just that some people do not like to be too low. Generally, most prefer eye level or higher. Generally, you will know from the pricing as the more popular positions tend to be more costly.


Probably, if any just choose the better positions within the temple. Maybe one that faces your mother-in-law's best position based on her date of birth. Maybe if your mother-in-law likes quiet and peaceful, then locate a more quiet location for her. If she likes company, then maybe find positions where popular people are placed etc.


As for height, there is really no particular best height, most perfer eye to higher level so that they are not like too low. That is about all.
