Need help picking furniture material. Is there any bad combinations to avoid (metal plus wood?)? What is best for dining room table? Living room coffee table? Home office desk?

Which is best for a home office? Metal, wood, glass, plastic desk? Is there any combination that is really bad (such as metal plus wood together?)

Is it bad feng shui to live by warehouses and office buildings (that are vacant at night)? If so, what are the remedies for this?

help! I have a new cubicle. I am seated under a beam/air duct (cylindrical metal thing) above my head. I cannot move and I cannot hang flutes under it. Anything else I can do?

I started a new job 11/07. Since beginning of year, I've had numerous health problems. I'm suspicious is the office feng shui. How can I cure: - High uncovered ceilings (overhead beams, etc showing) on top of me - open cublicle, I placed mirror up to see behind me - frequent foot traffic walking by my cublicle
