  1. Hello Master Lee, Are you referring to the 6-eye and 9-eye DZI beads which I see being sold in a lot of feng shui stores? In fact, Lillian Too sells them in her website. Her products are expensive.
  2. Hello Master Lee, What if I plan to build a house next year and I want to have it finished within 6 months? Does that mean that I cannot do any construction on the north side of the house and I cannot also do construction on the north-north-east side of the house 30 degrees? In that case then, ?I cannot have the house finished in 6 months? What do you suggest??
  3. Hello Master Lee, According to your 2009 report, the North will be afflicted with the #5 yellow star. Our kitchen is in the north. The mountain star is 9. The water star is 4. The base star is 2. So we will have 2, 5, 9 stars in our kitchen which is located in the north. Any cures? Please help. Thanks.
  4. Hello again Master Lee, Our house was built on period 7. Is it necessary to configure our house to period 8 to get positive luck since houses built during period 7 and other past periods don't have much luck. Is this true? Or can we just maintain our period 7 house and have it enhanced to have more luck by a feng shui expert? This was mentioned by feng shui expert Lillian Too.
  5. Hello Master Lee, The East is one my auspicious directions. My bedroom is located in the East (E3) sector of our house. When sleeping, my head points to the East for good health. However this east sector where my bedroom is located has the house's natal chart numbers of mountain star #7, water star #5 and base star #2. So I have 2 negative stars in my sector. My question is --- Is it still okay for me to sleep with my head poiting to the East? Even though I have 2 negative stars in my sector? I would appreciate your help! Thanks in advance!
  6. Master Lee, Just curious. Which of these 2 twin tower condos have good feng shui. The first twin tower condo have different heights. The second twin tower condohave the same height.
  7. Master Lee, We know that the Grand Duke is located in the north. Is it okay to work out in this area since our gym is located here? They say we should not disturb the Grand Duke so I'm just wondering if working out is disturbing him because of the noise generated by the the treadmill, spinning bike and workout DVDs.
  8. Hello Master Lee, To get a compass reading inside the room, do I stand in the center of the room facing out towards the bedroom door? Or do I stand outside the bedroom door and take compass reading with my back on the bedroom door?
  9. Master Lee, We know that NW symbolizes big metal. Is it safe to assume that the NW sector of our house which is afflicted with #5 mountain star in the natal chart will be suppressed because the #5 star is staying in the NW which is big metal. Is it still necessary to put metal cures? When you say the East symbolizes big wood and the West symbolizes small wood; does it mean that the East is strong wood and the West is weak wood?
  10. Master Lee, So since #2 ?becomes a future, future prosperity star from 2024 onwards, ?is it safe to assume that by 2024, #2 will no longer be an illness star? If that is the case, which number will be an illness star by 2024 onwards?
  11. Thank you very much for the information. I'm really learning a lot from you and reading this forum!?
  12. Hello again Master Lee, In a period 6 house or even period 7 house, is the #2 and #5 also bad stars during these past periods? Is #2 already considered illness star and #5 considered 5 yellow star during period 6 and period 7? Also, just curious, once period 9 starts in 2025 (yes, I know it's still a long long way off), will #8 become an unlucky/bad star? Just like what happened to #7 which was lucky during period 7 but became a unlucky/star during period 8?
  13. Cecil, Is it okay then for example, if our bed is facing a huge window - but this window has ?venetian blinds and we keep it shut every time we sleep? Do you still consider our bed in a coffin position? However, during we day, we like to keep the window open because we like to see the view outside and it's nice to see sunlight stream in. Cecil L. wrote: 1. Based on your current layout plan, the two beds are not in a "coffin position" especially if one's leg's does not face a door or at bed level faces any opening (glass opening). ?
  14. Hello Cecil, I am using both opera and mozilla firefox. For Opera, whenever I want to reply and quote your response, I could not drag your quote into the message box. When I click "add quote box" and "quote text," nothing appears. In short, I have to cut and paste your quote to the message box. For Mozilla, whenever I want to reply and quote your response, no quotes appear for me to drag them to the message box. So just like Opera, I have to cut and paste the quote to the message box. I wonder what's wrong with my browsers? Anyway, this is just FYI.
  15. Thanks. I might actually consider that in the future.?
  16. According to my mom, her real birthdate is January 11, 1939 BUT her birth certificate was burned along with other birth certificates in the city hall of her province. When she applied for a new one - she applied for it when she was a teenager; she put 1940 as her birth year. So since then, her new birth certificate states january 11, 1940. In fact, all important documents from passport to bank certificates etc. state her "new" birth date as january 11, 1940. My question is, for purpose of feng shui and computation, shall I use her real birthyear which 1939 OR shall I use her new birthyear which she has been using for several decades now - which is 1940?
  17. Cecil, What does each base star number represent? I only know that base star number 1 represents water. How about the other base star numbers? What is the significance of each base star? How does it affect each sector of the house? Is it less important than the mountain star number and water star number? I know these are a lot of Qs again. Hope you can further explain to me. Thanks much.
  18. Cecil, This year: 1.we changed some part of the roof since the roof is old and we have been experiencing leaks from the rain. 2. changed the kitchen floor tiles and painted a new color on the walls of the kitchen 3. painted new color on the walls of the master's bedroom which we now turned into gym room 4. painted new color on the walls of the living and dining rooms. So, would you consider our house newly renovated and now under period 8? Or is our house still under period 6? Please advice. Thanks!
  19. Thanks again for your response. I know I've been asking a lot of Qs lately but that's only because I'm a newbie here and I'm learning a lot from reading all the articles and past threads. In one of the older posts someone asked if she can use aluminum foil circles instead of coins and you replied: "Either: 1. Cut the aluminum foils into 6 circular discs each without the red paper or 2. Cut the aluminum foils into 6 stars i.e. to `5 pointed star' without the red paper. This option is less advisable as the pointed star is considered `sha qi' to some practitioners. But both are a `cheap' alternative to the 6 i-ching coins. Warmest Regards, Cecil" So this also another alternative you suggested. Does this have to be gold aluminum foil or will the silver aluminum foil be okay?? Also, what do you think about the 5 Element Pagoda which is usually recommended to suppress ?5 Yellow Star? Regarding the ions you mention, well, we have an aircon with those ions that supposedly clean the air of the room.
  20. Hello Cecil, I've been reading the really old threads and you mentioned that one cure for the sickness star and five yellow star is: 1. place 6 ancient Chinese coins tied with a red string on the wall on that sector. 2. a `simple' 6 coins arranged in two rows x 3 coins is scotched tape onto a red envelope and placed on the curtain (mid-point of the window. http://www.geomancy.net/resources/slideshow/ss-6coins.htm So any of these two ways of arranging the 6 coins will suppress the illness star and five yellow star? Please advice.
  21. Hello Cecil, I am wondering if we can use the salt cure to suppress the #2 illness and #5 yellow star? Thanks.
  22. Hello Cecil, After reading more back pages about steps, I am now understanding it better. Please correct me if I'm wrong but as I now understand it...counting the steps is continuous and? includes the landing. In short, we count the steps from the 1st floor all the way to the last step of the 3rd floor (that is if it is a 3-storey townhouse). I checked a newly built 3-storey townhouse today. The first level of stairs was 10 steps, then 7 steps, then 10 steps, and lastly 7 steps. So I totaled all the steps and the sum is 34. 34 is auspicious right?
  23. As you adviced, I removed everything red in the South sector of our house. Can't do anything about the yellow painted walls though. However, we have several large all-bronze sculptures like a pair of dolphins, a pair of cranes, a pair of ducks, a dolphin holding a ball. I guess I can use them to display in the South and NorthEast sectors to diminish the illness stars? I also have a huge painting with dark blue almost blue violet flowers.?
  24. Thanks a lot for your help! Yes, I was referring to #2. I believe #5 is the misfortune/illness star located in the south for 2008 right? Anyway, ?our room where #2 is afflicted is our office. The other room afflicted with #5 is formerly a bedroom but now a workout room. The wall of this room is painted yellow and white (but more yellow). So what can we do about it? Do I need to have it repainted but it will be too costly. Also, we have a red arawana picture on the wall. Should I remove it for this year??
