  1. Hi, Please read below:- There are a few things to note. 1. A missing corner, is more then 33.3% of a corner, otherwise you do not need to consider it as a missing corner. 2. You have to be careful, as some are considered protrusions. Usually protrusions are overall considered auspicious. The same 33.3% rule applies here. The cures should be considered based on Shapes and Forms, because it is more of a shapes and forms influence rather then a compass (eight house or flying star) influence. However, normally, it is good to make sure that there are no missing corners for a good location, so you might want to consider fixing any missing corners for good location based on the Flying star. In any case, please double check your house with the above points. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  2. Hi, Apologise for the late reply, as this mail is sent anonymous and does not reach my mailbox. Please read below:- The problem with Flying Star, is that it is complex, and not a secret. The complexity that it can be used and the level of detailed reading that can be done by it is what makes it difficult to understand. But that is also why it is so powerful. For beginners or those looking for an easy path, the Eight House was created for that purpose. But because of that it can only do that much. That depends on the object themselves and what they are being used for. If you look at it, based on feng shui, what is good for one person is not necessary good for the other, so it depends on the person's element, to deduce the good and bad of a certain object. In general, so long as you can see the problem, such as a sharp corner pointing or 'cutting' at you then it is bad. Otherwise it is ok. Whether you need to do anything, depends on the eventual analysis, which tell you if there are any bad influence. If there are, of course it would be better if you can control that influence. The cures for the sector found is the flying star affects that whole sector. If you have used the free report, you would have see the report in a table (9 square format). However, it is usually more accurate as a 8 pie chart like a bagua, which uses equal angle of 60 degrees spread. Normally, for gardens the external shapes and forms school is used instead. The Flying Star is good interior and a limited area of the exterior of the boundaries of the house. Yearly chart, helps you analyse the house in detail, because every year, every month, every day, every hour, the stars are always moving, so these helps you fine tune the influences. If you really want the best, then normally, you try to make changes every year to suit the year and even to the extend of the monthly stars. No, so long as you do not make any major changes to the house the chart will be used until you make a major renovation to the house. This means, that if you have a house of good feng shui in 1960, and you do not make any changes to the house, the influence will remain the same even for 2010. This is because the birth chart of the house does not change and the Flying star is like a "doing personal Pillars" for your house. It is like that, Feng Shui influences is very complex, and so long as it does not suit you or someone in the house, the effects takes places immediately. Thus, the Flying Star is able to predict until the minute and even the second. For desk, if you want to work in it, then make sure it suits your Eight House. And also a desk should be anchored onto a wall etc. It depends some chinese found that in cantonese 4 means die, others say that 4 is a luck number because of 4 leaf clover, it is stated to bring you luck. Whatever, the case, it depends on what you believe in. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  3. Hi, Please read below:- Actually, this is more a chinese belief and not really feng shui. According to the chinese belief, it is bad to view a house being constructed or move to another house. However, it does not relate to Feng Shui. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  4. Hi, Apologise for the late response, as this message is sent anonymous, which does not get sent to my mailbox. It is more possible, that you are either sleeping or working in a room with lots of 2 or 5 stars under the flying star. Otherwise, you are in too much contact with elements which are your "unfavourable elements". In any of the two scenario occurs, it is likely that you would encounter health problems. Without any further details on your pillars or flying star of the house you are staying, it is hard to deduce what is causing the problem. The center of the house should be left empty in the first place. It is where all the elements of the house meet. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  5. Hi, Apologise for the late responses, as this message is sent anonymous, it does not reach my mailbox. In any case, it is not advisable to hang wind chimes, unless you know what kind of wind chimes you want use. This is because wind chimes normally consist of more then one element so it may cause harm if a wrong one is used. If it is a wooden beam, you can put 6 coins string together to form metal which would destroy the sha qi from the sharp corners. Otherwise, you may have to consider other alternative to block it. This is not true, enhancements are done when there is a problem especially if there are inauspicious stars. This could mean that any room or location can be enhanced or cured. Please see above suggestion for curing slanting beams. Just make some alterations or correction to correct or deflect the problem. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  6. Dear Ber, Actually, it would greatly depend on what the FS teacher is analysis for and what are the tools he had used. Sorry, without details on the house or your information or even having seen your house, it is difficult or not proper for me to may any comments on this matter. It is also not good to have too many person looking at the same house. So long as you feel comfortable with his advices, then you should just follow it. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  7. Hi, Apologise for the late respond, as this message is sent anonymous, it does not get posted to our e-mail. Please read below:- You have to consider the period the house was built as Flying Star is for the birth chart of the house. There are several schools of thought:- 1. Once you make major renovation to the house, the entire house birth chart is altered to the year of the renovation. 2. The main door is considered your chi of your house and that all the levels of the house uses the same chart based on the flying star of the main door at the ground floor. 3. Every level has its own chart, and each level should be calculated based on the entrance to that level. So this means that a renovation in say the 2nd level should mean that the 2nd level chart is altered. So depending on the schools which is adopting this theory the explanation would change. Normally, traditional method of doing it, is to take the main door as the chi, and that means that the rest of the houses will follow the main chart. Because for 1 to 3 levels these are low level so the difference shouldn't be that great. Most important is the direction of the door. So under the above traditional assumption, a major renovation done to the house will alter the the rest of the chart to the new year. For fishes, and fish tanks, it is more complicated, because the number of fishes, the colour, the water, the type of decoration, such as sand etc also can affect the element of the fish tank. So it is not advisable for using fish to represent elements. You would be better off using standard objects. If you like to read up more, I remebered Cecil had replied several users in this forum about fish or fish tank. Please do a search on this forum. The standard mirror, depending on the location if it is placed auspicious location, it is ok. However, if you place it in an inauspicious location the chi is bounced back and you will be badly affected by it. It is best to check the flying star to see if the location is a good or bad location before attempting to put mirrors etc. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  8. Dear Sue, Apologise for the late response. Please read below:- So long as the table is not located right in the path of the stairs, it is fine. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  9. Dear Nicole, Please read below:- ----- Original Message ----- From: Listmanager To: Sent: Friday, July 02, 1999 3:55 AM Subject: Decorating You can use the computerized Five Element Cure module to generate a report for all your elements and destructive influences. Just create an account at http://www.geomancy-online.com. I am assuming that your element is weak water, so what is beneficial to you is metal. Earth is also beneficial (produces metal which in turn produces water) but does give a slight side effect (because earth also destroys water). I suggest that you make use of the online report as it also gives you the details of items and colours associated with water. As for the where to put lights etc, that may depend on what kind of influences there are in that room. You may need to match it against a Flying Star Report to be able to know which room you can use what kind of enhancers etc. With the Flying Star Report and the Eight House Report, you can then place your furnitures so that they are beneficial to you. As for the Crystal, please take note that for directions and influences deduced by the static eight associations direction, they are basically static templates and may not work effectively as you want it to work. So normally, I do not recommend it as these are sometimes considered practices of black hat sect (which does not take into account personal elements and house layour before attempting to cure or enhance them). Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  10. Dear Rose, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'flying-star' suppressed suppressed> Date: Tuesday, June 29, 1999 8:16 PM Subject: Desperate for Cures -Reply Actually, in my eariler message I already mentioned, that the coins itself are metal, in addition to that using 6 coins also represent Strong Metal, so these are sufficient for cures. Do not need to specially find Chinese coins. The logic in using the coins are above. Not so much the Chinese Coin concept. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  11. Dear Bless Lee, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'flying-star' suppressed suppressed> Date: Wednesday, June 30, 1999 9:32 AM Subject: Desperate for Cures I am assuming that your elements should be weak for both yourself. If possible I suggest you shift your son to another room, because the strong Earth influence is draining your son's Fire to produce more Earth. Also make use of the 6 coins string together or taped together to reduce the Earth influence. For you, you will be able to draw some of the inauspicious Wood into your own Wood influence, so still ok. But still necessary to use the 6 coins to reduce the Wood. In addition, I suggest that you wear some water element colours such as Blue, Black so that the Metal influence from the coins can be converted to help your weak water. (Just a little will do) Warmest Regards, Robert Lee
  12. Dear Glyn, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'flying-star' suppressed suppressed> Date: Tuesday, June 29, 1999 1:29 PM Subject: Desperate for Cures If you cannot obtain the chinese coins, any normal coins would also work. You do not need to specially purchase them. The number 6 is already Strong Metal, in addition the 6 coins are also metal in nature, so they are the best cures for such a situation. It is much better then using Wind Chimes, which we have told many times that Wind Chimes. Wind Chimes have several elements in them and if you use the wrong one it would be worse. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  13. Dear James, Apologise for the late reply, this mail was apparently not sent to my e-mail account. Personally, I feel that there is actually no need to purchase special amulet or ornaments for yourself or your home. It is equally effective to use any simple remedy, so long as it suits your personal element. For example, if you are a weak water, then using metal (such as any necklace, etc) would bring you luck. So I feel that it is more important to suit and enhance your element rather then to believe in a special sort of ornaments. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  14. Dear Rose, Please read below:- From: Question: As Water Apologise for that typo, I meant to say "Wood" rather then "Water". Thank you for pointing out. Please treat the "Water" as a typo on my part. Warmest Regards Robert Lee Rose
  15. Hi, Apologise for the late response as Anonymous mails does not get sent into the mailing list. Yes, that is a pretty bad combination of Earth and Wood (All of which are inauspicious stars. This would mean sickness, misfortunte etc. Try to use Metal element cures such as a string of 6 coins to hang at that direction. So as to reduce the Earth and destroy the Wood. As your details of your elements are not made known to me, I can only apply cures to the stars. May I enquire what are the stars in that room? And also what is the element of your son. It could be that he is located in a room which happens to be his unfavourable elements or that there is a sickness star found in the room. What direction is that room? Thank you for your encouragement, we try our best to answer every question. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  16. Dear Users, We have added a new conference to the Forum. 17. Dear Jason, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Monday, June 28, 1999 2:07 PM Subject: Office FengShui If you only have a partition, then you cannot really apply the Flying Star, as it is too small an area for a house/office evaluation type. You can make use of the Eight House instead to face and work in your best direction. The only way you can do it is to use the entrance to the entire office, then take the subsector which you partition resides in. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  18. Dear Laura, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Sunday, June 27, 1999 1:52 AM Subject: windows Maybe you like to check the Free Eight House Report (www.geomancy-online.com) for both you and your partner, see if you are sleeping in a room where it falls under any of the bad influence. Also, see if the house is suitable for the two of you. If they are, then the problem could be because you have inauspicious stars which surrounds the rooms in your house, such as star 3 or some other bad combinations, which can be deduced with the Flying Star of the house. Next, look around the room see if there are any visible signs of sharp corners which is pointing at you when you sleep. Those that you can see clearly are sha which is equally bad. Try to block them or shift them around a bit. Without some of the information available, it is difficult to assist you with your problem, as what I believe you are using are explanation from books which only gives you general information which is not personalised to you. Thus, these tips or suggestion does not necessary help to solve your problem. Once you have check out, the Eight House and some of the areas which I have pointed out, check back with us. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  19. Dear Glyn, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Monday, June 28, 1999 7:22 AM Subject: Before the event It is often easy to comment on a past event, as they can often put all sort of reasons to link the event to the charts. However, in order to predict the event, the person doing the chart has to obtain many information about the person in order to be able to predict the events. Remember that a Pillars is only the heavenly influence. You need to match it with your earthly events. Only then can you see the interaction and thus able to predict the terms of events. Well, it is not easy. As events can be altered. When such a disaster occur, it is normally represented by a clash in the pillars with the year and the main element. And this clash has to be further influenced by unfavourable elements of the clashes environment and even a clash between a opposing force (such as a competitor or some close personal events). Then you also need to compare that turn of events using other calculations such as the I-Ching to see what kind of turn of events is happening, and if you are looking a person's fortune, then you have to again cross-reference with the Palmistry or Face Reading (which are tools of Feng Shui also) and many areas. Only when you can do that will you be able to predict a person with up most accuracy. Unfortunately, many self-claimed FS "Masters" have not reach such a stage where they have completely mastered all the various tools of Feng Shui, and instead only have learnt one or two of it, thus, they will not be able to predict it. A true "Master" is fluent in Pillars, Flying Star, Eight House, Shapes & Forms, Five Element, Yin & Yang, I-Ching, Name reading, Palmistry, Face Reading, Bone Reading, Chinese Astrology (Zi Wei Dou Shu), Trigrams, Water Feng Shui, Luo Pan, Chi, Numerology & lots more. When you reach that stage, where you can inter-relate the results of the various tools together, can you be able to be to provide accurate predict events. Untill such a time, results from one or two components without any cross referencing will not be able to provide a detailed analysis. Remember, there is no QUICK FENG SHUI solution. A proper Feng Shui has to take into account many areas. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  20. Dear Glyn, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Monday, June 28, 1999 6:57 AM Subject: Different owners, same numbers Yes, this is an interesting scenario. Thank you for bring it up. It would look from a first glance that Mr B would face problems while Mr A should be ok right? However, you are missing a very important information here. The Pillars of the two person. Have you considered the elements of the person, and the year of influence of the person? Remember that I had often stressed to you, that you must personalised a person into his environment? There are several other analysis to look at for simplicity let me take an example of a suitability of an office element to a Pillars. For example, if this person is a strong wood, and his main door happens to represents that the office is a wood element. Do you think that this would be good for a strong wood? I think it would mean more competition for him, thus not good for a person with strong wood. Similarly, if this person is a weak Fire, and this main door happens to represent that the office is a wood element. Do you think that this is good for a weak Fire? Yes, I would think so and in fact it would give the owner a great boost! This means that even if a house is good, but this house have several elements which does not suit his birth element, do you think it would work? For business, the priority is that Flying Star and Pillars must suit that person. Then followed by the directions which he should face (for the room which he is going to occupy) and NOT the main door of the office being his disaster or good points. Remember that Eight House is a very limited tool, it is able to provide a good facing direction but does not necessary mean that it can properly determined an influence of the house. For Office, the Eight House cannot be used in any otherway except for a determining the best direction for the facing of his desk in his office room. When doing any analysis, you should be aware of what tools and what things to look for when analysing a situation. That is why Feng Shui is so complicated and only through experience can you understand and see the inter-relation of the various tools. A different analysis has to be taken into consideration for different type of situation. That is why there is such tools as Pillars of Destiny, Flying Star, Eight House and more. The usage of these tools into Feng Shui for Home, Feng Shui for Business and Feng Shui for individual are different in several ways although they are using the same principles. The summary of the reason is Flying Star although powerful has not been personalised to the individual. And the use of the Eight House as a personalisation tool is not sufficient. It has to personalise to a person's birth chart. If you do a check on the Pillars, you should find either two possible areas which could link to his success. Of course there are others which I have not mentioned, but mostly has to do with this two. 1. The element of his job (Art) should be his favourable element or his wealth element. 2. The office of his Art Gallery should also be matching his personal element. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  21. Dear Marissa, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Saturday, June 26, 1999 11:57 PM Subject: flying star Flying Star is a complex theory which uses numbers of stars to deduce the good and bad influences. If you generated your free flying star report, you would have seen the full analysis of the flying star for the North-West sector of the house. The rest will not be analysed for you. The analysis is very complex as you need to understand many of the underlying concepts in order to be able to deduce the relationship of the numbers found in the room. Thus, we have come up with this computerized module to help users. In order to use the report, you need to understand the stars that are formed, the inter-relation of the stars and the element of the person which you are comparing to. Once you have all the details, you will be able to access if a particular room or direction is good or bad. Warmest Regards Robert Lee
  22. Dear Jason, Please read below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'flying-star' suppressed suppressed> Date: Friday, June 25, 1999 10:23 AM Subject: Flying Star 'Numbering' Flying Star is the most complicated theory compared to other theories such as Eight House or other theories. It also contains lots of various conditions which you need to understand before you can analyse the theories properly. It is because of this complexity, that we have converted our knowledge of Flying Star into a computerized Flying Star module to help users easily apply this theory into a person's life. You can always say add some screen or divider to block the direct sha. Are you the breadwinner of the house? Yes, a good star in the room is also ok, because it can works in either main door or a bedroom. However, if it is located exactly where your main door is you will enjoy additional luck for the entire household. Since you have a mountain star, please activate it, as it does help to activate the mountain star luck in addition to the triple 6 combination which is an excellent (seldom obtainable stars). What are the stars found in the main door? Are there any unfavourable influence in the stars? If not, it would seems that the main door with your bedroom having triple 6 combination (seems to be a better). This is assuming from the information you have told me. Provided it you are not the breadwinner, as from what you told me, this is a death house for you. If it is, I would recommend that you stick to the kitchen door as your main door.
