Case Study 3: Controversy of front door opening towards a wall. 1. Many past HDB flats including past and present condos / ECs have such a layout plan. 2. Should I be concerned? 2.1. Some Feng Shui Masters and even some persons felt that it may be inauspicious to have a front door opens towards a wall. 2.2. Perhaps, they felt that it is the same as having "opportunities" slammed against them!. Or some mambo jumbo about the inability of qi coming from the front door been blocked by this "wall". 3. If you buy this argument then you may be joining this group of persons and their concerns. 4. Frankly, this is not a major concern or issue. 4.1. A blessing in disguise is that the front door does not open directly towards the living room windows and some have to make a point of adding a partition between the front door and the living room window(s). 5. One will also notice that the front doors of both 221 and 223 face each other. This is for another "day". 6. Luckily, the front door of stack/unit 221 is not at location marked as "X". Else, it is facing an inauspicious long corridor.

Case Study 2: Potential poison arrow from sharp corner of the Multi-Storey Carpark (MSCP) aimed towards Stack 225 1. This photo does not show clearly the extent of the sharp corner. As there is a notch where the 5th storey roof garden is located. 2. On the safe side, avoid low floors of stack 225. 3. For Stacks 229 and 231 be careful of the roof garden lamp post which may or may not slice towards an opening of these units. Again on the safe side, get higher floor units like at least 7th storeys onwards (if possible).

Case Study 1: What a waste that Stack/unit's front door has a full view of the Common Bin Lobby (CBL). 1. Not great if one has to open one's front door and greeted by the CBL. 2. Stack/unit 225 although cannot see the common bin cute openings but have a view of the top half of the CBL. 3. Stack/unit 219 is not that bad. Unless one has inconsiderate neighbours and especially during durian season where often some would just dump the durian seeds and shells. The smell may just permeate the main bedroom window area. But of course, close them.

Case Study 5: 4 and 5 Bedroom Layouts 1. HDB has previously placed a bedroom on the other side of the living room e.g. at some of the newer HDB flats at Punggol Northshore and HDB Skyparc Dawson etc.. 2. What is different in HDB Tampines GreenJade are the Master Toilet and Shared Bathroom positions. 2.1. Here, a plus is that the centrepoint is clear of things like the shared toilet door or it's sink in close proximity of this centrepoint of the house. An added advantage under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. 2.2. In addition, all the unit's waste pipes (other than the kitchen sink/yard) are concentrated together. 3, The only "headache" for the future occupant or buyer is the installation and pipes for an Air-con should it be installed at the lone bedroom on the other side of the living room! 4. Contractor: "No choice, I have to charge you more for the materials and labour to run the ducting at this bedroom! Based on Job-costing! 4.1. Many current owners installed false ceiling for these piping to run directly across the living room. 4.2. While some have considered running along the living room windows - taking a "longer route". 4.3. Common sense says that the drainage pipe follows gravity and there can only be one DROP! towards a toilet. Got it, Get it?

Case Study 4: Should I be concerned with one of my bedrooms sharing the same wall as a Lift shaft with a moving lift? 1. There are a few Feng Shui Masters who felt that moving metal is not good for a home. And felt that a home especially a bedroom should not share the same wall as a lift / lift air well. 2. Should I be concerned? 3. You shouldn't be at all. Instead, it could indeed be a blessing in disguise given that the Lift structure, besides the emergency stairwell are some of the most safe structures in a block. Furthermore, with the household shelter wrapped beside it, this can instead be a plus!

Case Study 3: All stacks facing Sungei Beok are of Flying Star SW1 facing and the water flow is from Right to Left especially for Stacks 100, 110, 106, 148, 156, 158, 162, 164 and166. Under the Water Classics, make a guess whether this flow is auspicious or inauspicious for these stacks? There can only be two outcomes: Yes or No?

Case Study 2: Of temporary unblocked views and future residential construction noise and dusts 1. Stacks especially that of 110, 106, 148, 156, 158, 162, 164, 166 and perhaps also 100 views of Sungei Bedok by a future high rise residential development sandwiched between this development and Sungei Bedok. 2. Nowadays it seems construction works take at least around 3 years or more to complete.

Poor Shapes and Forms Feng Shui and also will definitely affect future re-sale value after Minimum Occupation Period (M.O.P.) of 5 years.. 2.
