Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 20, 2009 Staff Share Posted April 20, 2009 An insurance study has mentioned that both RED and GREY cars are more prone to accidents:- 1. RED car Some people have a harder time "paying" attention to the (red) brake lights of a red car. As the entire car is red, more distraction. This was more evident especially in the past where there was no THIRD brake light at the rear window area. And also in the past the bulbs were truly small glass bulbs unlike today where LED ones were used. Sometimes, glass bulbs were faulty also. 2. GREY car Especially bad in a fog environment. As the road colour is quite close to the car's grey colour... can say that the grey car literally blends into the surrounding road surface!
