Staff Cecil Lee Posted May 27, 2009 Staff Share Posted May 27, 2009 1. Under the current period : 2004 usually to 2020 is generally safe. However, when it comes closer to Period 9, usually around 3 years before Period 9, then 8 becomes past prosperity.2. It is still best to be - safe in the current period especially do take note of where the yearly #5 or #2 are located. Thus in this year although #5 is found at North; but sickness star #2 can be found in the West.3. In addition, one has to be careful especially when stars #5 and #2 falls into the west for the year. 4. Usually, things like time dimension, may over weigh the advantages of havinga #8 in such an area if say: the Year, month, day and even hour stars especially of #5 and/or #2 flies into that sector. Staff Cecil Lee Posted May 27, 2009 Staff Share Posted May 27, 2009 1. This year, the five yellow is located at North. And sickness star #2 is located in the west.2.For next year, the Year of the Tiger, the five yellow falls in the SW and #2 falls in the NE sector:-http://www.geomancy.net/resources/yearly-forecast/fortunes-2010.htm
myfs_138253
Thanks Mr. Cecil,It certainly looks like year of tiger will be better for me :-) ( well this year so far has been pretty good too, especially learning feng shui has been inspiring )So, time dimension can have strong influence over sitting/facing stars. I will certainly look out for #2 and #5 stars in the west and the NI also read about 8-2 combination and 7-3 combination, the stars will cancel out each other's strength when they meet, do you think it's true? If so, then, annual 2 won't be as scary and the 8 sitting star might not be as helpful as they meet? Thanks for your advice.iv>Peter
Staff Cecil Lee Posted May 28, 2009 Staff Share Posted May 28, 2009 The clue here is :#5 = strong bad (yellow) earth#2 = weak bad (yellow) earth#8 = current auspicious weatlh (especially good if it is a MS# or a WS#).Thus one should be worried more of #5While #7 = weak bad metal so in general, it helps to neutralise #3 which is generally bad wood. Metal helps to control woodThe best to look into using the Five elements concept.Frankly, all the hocus pocus about what cancels each other is fundamentally = understaning and applying the Five Elements concept: productive, destructive sequence and strength of each element. This is the LCM (the lowest common denominator) for everything related to both ba zi, flying star etc...
myfs_138253
Mr.Cecil, Quote What happens whenmonthly 8 star visiting amountain 8 room that has aannual 2 star? Is it going tobe good or bad?iv>Thanks,Peter
Staff Cecil Lee Posted May 31, 2009 Staff Share Posted May 31, 2009 Please ponder over the following information:-1. Under Period 8, is it true that #8 is the auspicious number? 2. Under Period 8, #8 especially Mountain and/or Water star(s) are considered the current prosperity stars.3. When one hears of double auspicious #8's, especially the 20 year flying star; it is always good to have these two stars at the most yang qi area e.g. frontage of the home.4. Under Para 3, if the MS#8 can live happily side by side with WS#8; then just imagine when a #8 flies in.. what is the outcome of a MS#8 and this monthly WS#8?
