1. Complex comprises the Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery, Bright Hill Crematorium & Columbarium and the Evergreen Home.

2. The Tee Tho Aum Temple is next door to the many funeral parlours at Blk 37 to 39 Sin Ming Drive.

3. In when my grand-father's grave was exhumed from his burial site 35 plus years ago in the Tampines dut to the government taking possession of the cemetry to buildgovernment homes in that area. Presently my grand father is housed in the Bright Hill Columbarium.

4.The Golden Sphere / Spine is considered a sha qi especially if the premises is at the same level of the spine.

4.1 There are several developments close-by to spine:the Bishan Point condo; Government Housing Board Flats (Housing and Development Board - HDB) in Bright Hill Avenue arevery close to the "Sphere or Spine" of the Kong Meng San.

4.2 And many of the homes (directly facing the sphine) that are at the same level of the "Sphere or Spine" hadopted / resorted to placing a conVEX mirror each to deflect it.

Hi Cecil, will the high units at Thomson Three condo behind the Sin Ming Ave flats be affected by the spine?

These are some considerations:

1. For those who had served in the army (SAF); Heard this? " Watch your front!".

1.1. In general, so long as the "spine falls within the yellow zone directly facing Block A, it is a possibility that a particular unit may be affected by the spine provided it is aimed towards the unit's opening such as the front door or window(s):

[Below] A simple illustration of a block that may be affected by the spine, if it falls within the yellow zone

1.1. When we were at the rifle range, whenever we were about to engage our target and about to pump a few rounds, the above is often uttered by e.g. the conducting officer.

1.2. Same concept goes, here.

2. Below, shows the highlighted patch for each block and the "rays".

2.1. Block 45 is the closest to the "spine". But as one can see, it's YELLOW rays does not even cross that of Ai Tong School.

2.2. Therefore, to answer your question, No.

3. However, often if we are convinced of this, there are always others who may sow doubts. As to some, so long as one could see the "Spine" or that it is visible from a unit, to them, Yes, the unit is affected by the "Spine".

3.1. For example, during a re-sale of a unit, even if we ourselves are not concerned by this "spine"; others may not think so. Some may even try to give "low-ball" offers.. etc...

3.2. Even for Block 41, the angled stack although faces "towards" the "spine" but based on this line of sight, it's views is towards the fringe of Ai Tong School and Fulton Road. And not passing the Bright Hill Road where the Kong MEng San Phor Kark See Monastery is located.

3.3. Of course, possible to see the "spine", here.

4.  A "Watch your front" example. (See Below).

4.1. In reality,  unit marked in RED as "X" is the only unit is affected by the spine. Even so, unless it is aimed towards an opening such as the front door of the unit or a window, it then counts as a Sha Qi or poison arrow. If not? Not so.

5. For units in blue A and B, even if one can see the "spine", these two units or others except X are considered not to be affected by the "spine" even if one can see it.

5.1. For example, if X is at the #5th storey, and if the whole block is 32 storeys high, #6 to #32 and also #1 to #4 are considered not affected by the "spine".

5.2. However, some may think otherwise. And as mentioned under Para 3. So long as one can see the "spine" to them it is a "No go" situation.
