Staff Cecil Lee Posted September 2, 2009 Staff Share Posted September 2, 2009 1. Under the current period: 8 (2004 to 2023); the areas to look out for in Singapore would be the NE corridor of Punggol / Seletar area. 2. Another area is already evident is in the SW sector Singapore. Go down to Boon Lay and one can see that this is the busiest sub-urban place-to-be in Singapore. 3. In the next 10 years or so, the NE corridor would gradually also see much activities. NE would be seen as more of a "physical" recreational activity hub... while the SW more of a "work cum window shopping" kinda-of a place. 4. It does not mean that the whole population has to move to NE or SW - goodness me! Nowadays with easy transportation: MRT and many own cars; it is so much easier to move around i.e. mobility. 5. Under this period: South should also not be forgotten as after NE and SW; South is considered another "auspicious" hub of activities: both recreational and work.
