Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 13, 2009 Staff Share Posted November 13, 2009 Money Plant has to be one of Singapore citizen's all time favourites! As the leaves are broad and looks like a heart. It can be grown in a bowl of water and rocks (but becareful of mosquito eggs). When grown in a pot, it is a climber or vine. And it can climb walls. And can grow quite large especially if it is grown on the grown. However, if you were to utter these words "Hey! Why are you growing Devil's Ivy" No body would believe this other name. Money Plant belongs to the Araceae family. Origin: Solomon Islands.... If you do visit Solomon Islands... remember... $$$ plant comes from there
Guest FengShuiGuy
Cactus-es near it?. The name is always an advice for feng shui. Devil's ivy sounds like a hifty spirit in all planes. It is not recommended. It is true that it can repel its same nature (negativity) but it can attract it as well.
