Subject: Invitation for Talks

Dear Master Cecil,

Greetings from (such and such company name removed). We are interested to invite you to give a Fengshui talk during our Tea Reception at our outlets.

It will be our honor to invite you to give a Fengshui talk in conjunction with Jewellery (if possible) on how and what type of jewellery can enhance on ones health, wealth and etc. The target audience of the talk would be largely our members and walk in customers if any. We are looking at 15-30 audiences depending on the size of the branches.

I would greatly appreciate if you can answer to my enquires as below,

- understand from the website that talks from your establishment are Free (any limitation on the type of talks?)

- do you give talks for small groups? E.g.12 pax

- can arrangement be done for Saturday afternoon? E.g. 1400hrs to 1530hrs

- would it be possible to arrange Talks with you for our various branches on various Saturday?

1. Thanks for your invitation for Feng Shui talks.

2. Frankly and honestly, the specific area of Feng Shui is only about earth luck e.g. one's home and work place.

3. Unfortunately, Feng Shui, has been "misused" by some to equate Feng Shui with such things as "Feng Shui" jewellery.

4. The area of jewellery may perhaps be linked more to the once upon a time many know our culture or books soley on Chinese Astrology signs. And maybe perhaps, like it's cousin the Western zodiac signs can be associated with say different stones for different purposes.

5. Thus honestly, (no hard feelings) if one should associate jewellery with Feng Shui; this is a modern commercial invention and in my opinion, has never been activitely done by I believe yourself or your competitors. As this is not the right approach.

6. Under the Chinese Holy trinity of luck:

6.1. Heaven luck relates to when we are born i.e. born with and analysed via Ba zi

6.2. Earth luck is purely Feng Shui of the land : the environment, site, building and place.

6.3. Human or man luck factors: relationship with family members, bonding.

7. In general, and in my opinion, academically; this is why we often don't see an arrangement of a Feng Shui Master associate themselves with "jewellery". Of course in some countries, we do get some Geomancers associating themselves with "in the name of Feng Shui" jewellery. But as mentioned, authentic Traditional Feng Shui has never been associated in the past with such things.

8. Thus, Feng Shui goes hand in hand more with real estate companies and for some general knowlege on Feng Shui but in Singapore, no respectable Geomancer would associate jewellery with Feng Shui.

9. Once again, many thanks for your invitation - as I reget I have to decline this invitation.
