myfs_136122
Hi Mr CecilI would need your advice with regards to the 5 elements and career. I amof strong wood element tiger and I suppose it'll be ideal to go into a business related to the earth elementfor wealth and success. But being a new start-upin a business related to thewood element (education/ training), I suppose it adds on to my already excess wood element, creating a great imbalance. The resulting effect is more competition & competitors? There's great competition in the industry I'm in and we do experience constant "patronizing" by our competitors who'll send their staffs to our centre to "spy" on us,etc. According to our students, they had been approached bythese competitorsas well.I'm in charge of business strategic planning & maketing strategies (fire element?), and I do teach as well if there's a need, while my partner (weak metal ox) is the registered owner andprincipal of the training centre , she also teaches. How do we apply the 5-element concept in this case?Looking forward to your advice.Best regards.Paul Wangchuk
Staff Cecil Lee Posted June 11, 2010 Staff Share Posted June 11, 2010 One is better off applying studying things like Professor Michael Porter i.e. Porters five forces and applying say Suntzu Art of War strategies.
