myfs_146008
DearMaster Cecil,I like to seek your advice on selecting a right Feng Shui Matrimony Mattress.Question 1:If the favourable element for my fiancee and me is water, is it true that a metal or water bed is good for us?Question 2:But some said that water bed is NOT considered to be a good feng shui mattress choice as the water element in these mattress is considered to be too strong. Is this true?Question 3:While a metal bed such as those with springs, according to the Feng Shui philosophy is not a good option too as metal will conduct electomagnetic fields and will disrupt the flow of positive energy. I think this is true, am I right?Question 4:Hence, the most highly recommended type of Feng Shui mattress is the foam mattress. Foam allows the most consistent airflow to the body during sleep and is considered to be the best choice for optimal energy flow. One of the reasons foam mattresses are more pleasing to the Feng Shui practice is that unlike the spring or water mattresses, foam does not conduct electricity. Electricity isnt useful in getting a good night sleep and can interfere with the flow of positive energy and chi. Is this true? Finally, I like to find out what is your advicefor a good and right Feng Shui mattress for people whose favourable element is water and do you agree with the above feng shui mattress view.Thank you very much! Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 13, 2010 Staff Share Posted August 13, 2010 These are some of the considerations:- 1. Wow! In my opinion, what you wrote is like theoritical physics or a thesis inked in stone! 2. I can also say this "This is really heavy stuff man!" Again, wow, wow, wow! 3. Just imagine, lets go back to 100 years back. Frankly, 100 years is not a long time given that the Chinese civilisation is one of the four that can go back 5,000 years ago. 4. This kind of thinking is truly "beyond" me and our fore-fore-fore fathers. 5. Just ponder over this; maybe the cavemen sleep on rocks. So you should agree with me that theorically, this would be excellent choice if one lacks earth! 6. So how come.. earth or stone bed is missing in your information? Why can't this be added into the "missing corner". Maybe perhaps, some give an excuse and say.. yeah.. this could be that porcelian pillows were found and used in the past. 7. Perhaps, it makes sense for those lacking in earth to sleep on the five footh way? 8. If the water is concealed in a water bed; it really does not make any difference.9. Imagine.. what happens if our forefathers lack metal in the past? Won't it be detrimental if he/she does not have the luxury of a metal frame and springs? 10. Do you know that even in the last 100 years; it is very costly to sleep on a metal bed? So how? Detrimental effects to those that lack or need metal? 11. If we visit the Forbidden city in Beijing.. go look at the bed... tell me if you SEE a metal bed or even a water bed. 12. In conclusion: in my opinion, those who promote or link such things with ba zi etc... should get their heads examined! 13. For example, drawing a parallel; if one lacks wood does it mean that you have to draw a car or rather a cart made of wood and you should avoid driving a metallic car? OMG! Looney tunes... 14. Personally, have better things to do than to worry whether should I sleep on foam or non spring or non wood etc.... What has this world become? Again, we should spent more quality time on other matters than this rather "crazy notations".
