After-Heaven Bagua mirror to hang inside windows

Hello Cecil and Robert,
I am very proud to join your forum.
First of all, a big hello to everyone as this is my first post.
I read about After-Heaven Bagua mirror while surfing on net.
I wonder, whether it is for specific indoor hanging? Is it safe to use it indoor?
What do they look like?
I
live in a unit and would like to use Bagua mirror to deflect the
traffic. But since I live in unit I can't hang it outside so I'd have to
hang it inside the window facing outside to deflect bad energies.
Do I use After-Heaven Bagua mirror or Before-Heaven Bagua mirror? What do they look like?
I also heard I have to be really careful about using After-Heaven Bauga mirror.
Kind regards,
Kalpana

Are you referring to the "Later Heaven Sequence Bagua? Where you said "After-Heaven"?
Please check this link:-
http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-pakua.htm
Traditionally, "The First Heaven Sequence Mirror" should be used and not the "Later Heaven Sequence Mirror."
In majority of all the Asian countries; so far, I have yet to come across a commercial "Later Heaven Sequence Mirror". Not sure about America or European, thou. Maybe some diabolically twisted soul would make a "Later Heaven Sequence Mirror" for sale.
Yes, all mirrors should FACE-OUTwards. Thus, if possible it should be hung outside and hardly if any for someone to hang it indoors even thu it is facing outwards.... But as a Last Resort, if really can't then no choice liao....
Note: The term Pakua and Bagua are the same. Where Pakua is a Chinese dialect (Hokkien) way of pronouncing the politcally correct: Mandarin pin yin spelling of "Bagua".

Thank you for posting reply. Yes I mean to say Later-Heaven. Some people call it After-Heaven, post-heaven etc on the net.
I have convex bagua mirror with ZHEN (2 broken and 1 unbroken line) on top part of bagua mirror. Looks like it is Later-Heaven bagua mirror and I should not hang it inside.
Since I live in unit, can I hang a yellow CONVEX bagua mirror with QIAN (3 unbroken lines) on top of bagua mirror inside bedroom window facing out? There are lots of car parked on that side.
Can I also hang bagua mirror with tassel & coin inside house facing out the window of lounge room as there is driveway?
Kindest regards,
Smile

Thanks for the photo. But most likely you may have mis-interpreted what I had wanted.
As seriously; this photo showing the side of the drive-way is of no value; at all.

Further to what I had mentioned;
1. If your photo does show that it was taken from inside the main door looking out; so far, there does not seem to be any threat - in that photo. So, in my opinion; so far, no need a bagua mirror to be hang say above the door.
(Anyway, the photo is angled to the floor: can't see higher to make further comments).
2. If this photo is not taken inside the main door looking out... then there is "educational" value in this photo.
3. The attached illustration: shows that if a proper photo has to be taken; it should be standing say inside the main door looking out or standing inside the window of a home looking outwards...

Hi Cecil,
That's my 3.5meter long and 2 meter wide
window looking out to the driveway just next to my window (nearly attached). The photo was taken from inside. Car coming & going day
& night as the car park is at the back of the building. Smoke,
noise, exhaust. It feels like living in a driveway. Sure, I don't need
any protection?
Kind regards,
Kal

Frankly, if you are referring to the photo you had posted;
All I can see is a photo of a walkway and the photo was taken looking downwards.
I repeat; based on this photo: tell me what is the threat? You have to be realistic. Given this photo; I don't see any threat at all.

Dear Cecil,
Can I hand Bagua mirror infront of my main door then?
Since the neighbour next door is not so friendly.

Love your cartoons!
So, you don't suggest hanging bagua mirror on my door. Confused
Why do people hang bagua mirror when they have trouble with their neighbours?Neutral

There are a few considerations:
1. In countries that have "street-smart" Chinese especially in the Far East; hanging a bagua could invariably lead to a "ba gua war". Where one's neighbour also hangs a ba gua. Get it?
2. Traditionally, a bagua is used specifically for THREE major reasons:-
2.1. "Protection" again spirits ... and not that silly kind of protection relating to protection against one's neighbours
2.2. To deflect poison arrows VIA a conVEX mirror
2.3. A conCAVE mirror can or may be used to capture good scenery or at a missing corner.
Now, can you honestly tell me: where the "crab" does this silly idea of hanging bagua because of trouble with neighbours flow in the above.
3. I know; even in my country; there may be the rare few; but these are the exceptions or the "low, low class" or considered as such people around... These are the people who most likely are struggling with their lives; and for some who says there is such thing as "karma"; then; it may befall them.
4. Why go so low as to become one of these "scumbags?". So does one think that if there are lots of tailgaters in our life; do you go and place a bagua mirror at the rear of the vehicle?
5. Furthermore; another group of "scumbags" are worst. These are the parasites of Fung Sway. They are simply known as "The Feng Shui Emporium" kind. These people want to sell you nearly anything but everything... GOT IT? GET IT? STILL WANT IT?????????????

So, in that case, how should one deal with trouble neighbour in Fung Sway way?

There are two components; here.

1. Earth luck or Feng Shui.

2. Human or Man luck.

Under Feng Shui; please note that it is not just above those ba gua mirrors, please. There are other theories. Clue: one theory has info about such thing as #5 and #3. Go find out what #3, is about......

Unbelievable that Feng Shui being a holistic approach can be misused or rather abused; to rely on a mirror??

The holistic approach even extends to Shapes and Forms and fixing the leak.

As mentioned, above, the other component is Human factors. This is not Fung Sway.

Further to what I had mentioned; even within one school of Feng Shui; for example: Flying Star; besides; looking at #3 there is a need to look into other of it's sub-modules e.g. Eighty one combinations of the mountain and water stars to look for clashes relating to that issue u wrote.

In the past I elaborated; that Feng Shui and not the kindergarten type of Fung Sway; has different styles.

Kung Fu, also has many techniques and styles: tiger, crane, snake, monkey, etc etc.....

Please don't think of Feng Shui as monotone.
In fact, there are so many flavours of Feng Shui:-
http://www.geomancy.net/events/CDL_FS_Talk/talk_1_slide_19.htm

Unfortunately, many think that Feng Shui is Fung Sway and think in terms of the myopic tunnel. And it is also does not revolve around the ba gua mirror. Where some think that it is the mother of all cures. Furthermore, without the ba gua mirror is not like armageddon...

Ba gua mirrors comes in all shapes and sizes.

This one looks complicated. But actually, ithe various outer yin-Yang symbols are pretty common. More decorative than function. Although it does have the 8 trigrams on it.

This mirror + protection yellow charm are placed above a HDB flat door in block 448 Yishun Ave 11.

Just that this seller incorporates it into a huge ba gua mirror.

Mirror within the middle of the ba gua mirror some more? The only thing is that I am not visible through the mirror...

1. Sorry to learn about your plight.

2. Usually to counter a conVEX mirror is to "return" an opposite type of mirror = conCAVE mirror.

3. From the photo... looks like the centre mirror used by your neighbour is conVEX.

4. While their use of this type of mirror generally to deflect sha qi.

5. You did not mentioned where is this room? A bedroom facing a bedroom or a bedroom facing a kitchen etc...

1815127831_Concave1.thumb.jpg.7a3d8b649adc95653a5f5b02f003e91b.jpg6. In general... should the mirror be conVEX... then often a conCAVE mirror (with magnification) properties such as below is used.. without the 8 trigram on the outer ring.

6.1. Thus the counter mirror (a concave) one does not need the 8 trigrams. As a ba gua mirror including that is also meant to scare away local ghosts.

6.2. If you use such a mirror, then this is unfortunately known as a "Ba gua WAR".

7.  Feng Shui best practises based on the 12 Habits of Feng Shui:

Frankly, sometimes there are more than meets the eye...

You might want to explore these two (major) related habits or concepts...

7.1. Feng Shui Triage?  Often, there may be other considerations in Feng Shui such as an imbalance in specific areas in the home with or without the neighbour's placement of ba gua mirror.

7.2. Fix-the-leaks Probably... as mentioned above.. they can be a likelyhood of nasty health stars like #5 misfortune/sickness and/or #2 sickness and/or fuelled by #9 fire element under Flying Stars Feng Shui.
