Building between 2 busy streets and dark room

Hello Master:
My b/f and I have been searching for an apartment since some time ago. We are a young couple that recently started working and been saving money to make this first investment.

Case 1: Little building next to a much taller pair of buildings and near other slightly taller buildings

The model apartment looked acceptable, flying star analysis was pretty good but the shapes and forms Feng Shui wasn't very good for a little building in that configuration. Plus, in the country i live, you have to research the building company in order to avoid major headaches such as losing your savings on a project that was never finished. The contract did not specify a completion date and had other major issues, and when we did the research, the company had a lot of lawsuits and people wherever we go, advice not to buy from them (even at the bank... the employee that heard our case was acquaintance of the administrator of one of the buildings they built.... seems almost like we found the right people in our research). We listened to them and requested our money back and fortunately we got it back as other people did not had much good luck with this. We learned a lot from this experience.
Case 2: Building near a big temple found at the top of a hill and near a busy street
The temple is at a NW-SE alignment and the busy street is at one side of the lot at around 50m, directly next to some buildings. None of the units will face directly the temple but some will have a side view of it. I'm not sure but i suspect the units at higher stories near the temple would be the ones affected by yin energies from it (specially the ones with the balcony facing near that direction). Also for one of the best units (away from the temple), the death line for my b/f, the breadwinner, was going straight from the main door to the master bedroom. Those two were already major issues and also, this company advertised the delivery date as much sooner than the date printed in the contract. So we moved on to another project.
Case 3 (current): Building between two busy streets
The project is going to have 4 identical buildings. The apartment is more than just acceptable, we like it, the contract is clear and gives us confidence for the first time but it has these major issues:
  • Two busy streets at both sides (please see the image attached), not sure which one is the mountain side. My b/f is used to the noise and i guess i can get used to it too (as it suffer from low pressure may be it would not harm me to rise my blood pressure a bit with the noise )
  • Room 2 at NW (bad starts 5-9-2) will be dark most of the day. I am thinking about putting a shade plant (yang) to balance the room, is that a good remedy? and a 6 rod wind chime to control the bad earth element?
  • The stove is considered at the center of the house where the combination 4-8-3 is found. Even though it is not so good to have the stove at the center, is it this beneficial to "burn" star 3 in a water position star?
  • In the near future, a church will be constructed next to the building (i suppose units at higher levels would be less affected by it) but currently there are also 2 schools (one at less than 100m at the other side of the road and the other one at around 250m). In this case, are the yin and yang forces balanced or the contrary?
  • Main door faces N direction, death for the breadwinner, but he is a weak wood person and i read that a house facing water would be kind of beneficial for him? Which concept, eight houses or ba zi has more "weight"?
  • A sharp corner points directly to the bed. I plan to sleep on that side to protect the breadwinner and i think i will cover it with a paper lamp material in the shape of a big C to visually cover it. Would that work?
Thank you so much for sharing your invaluable knowledge.

Yes, it is good to understand and visualise "white pollution" prior to wanting to purchase such a unit. In Singapore, there are a few homes that even spent more money to double-glaze their windows. And they don't expect to open, them most of the time.

  • Room 2 at NW (bad starts 5-9-2) will be dark most of the day. I am thinking about putting a shade plant (yang) to balance the room, is that a good remedy? and a 6 rod wind chime to control the bad earth element?

Frankly, you may have to seriously consider having a real plant as there is some maintenance required: watering, sometimes bringing it out for greater sunlight etc.. I don't see any harm with the 6 hollow rod windchime.

  • The stove is considered at the center of the house where the combination 4-8-3 is found. Even though it is not so good to have the stove at the center, is it this beneficial to "burn" star 3 in a water position star?

Sorry you can't burn star 3 with water. Star 3 is burned with fire element. In fact, water supports star 3!

For a church; more importantly, if one does not see the spine e.g. cross aimed at the unit; this is generally fine or OK. Church is often not considered as yin. What it is; has more to do for some with "depository" of for some.. sins, repentance all these sorts of things.. and maybe hope.. I will be more concerned with some temples instead of a church.

  • Main door faces N direction, death for the breadwinner, but he is a weak wood person and i read that a house facing water would be kind of beneficial for him? Which concept, eight houses or ba zi has more "weight"?

Frankly, both don't complement each other well. However, one has to look at "L.C.M." Lowest common denominator. Eight House uses only "Year of birth". While heavy duty Ba zi uses more variables such as DD / MM / YY / HHHH. Thus, technically it is said that ba zi uses more variables; it should be more accurate.
This is why practitioners of Ba Zi Feng Shui don't want to fall back on eight house concept. As mentioned; which is more accurate and "detailed?" Using Year of birth ONLY or DD/MM/YY/HHHH? Again this can be argued as commonsense.
A sharp corner points directly to the bed. I plan to sleep on that side to protect the breadwinner and i think i will cover it with a paper lamp material in the shape of a big C to visually cover it. Would that work?

Frankly, must know the distance etc... the corner depends on whether it is a corner derived out of a cabinet corner or a wall. For a wooden cabinet corner; often the sha qi is only around 1.5 to 2 feet. While a corner from a concrete wall is approximately 1 metre or 3plus feet.

    4 3
    8
can a stove burn this bad star if it is found near it? I have read about host star and guest star concept in flying stars, but in some rooms it is difficult to know which one is the "host" based on the activity done in the room (for example, for bedrooms the star activated is the one in the mountain position while the other one is "dormant"). Is this concept correct or i'm mixing two different things here?
For kitchens i've read that the star in the water position or front star is the one activated?
Thank you very much for all your kindness in sharing your knowledge.
