myfs_40495
dear CecilI have position my desk on a wall unfortunately my back is facing the toilet directly and my toilet bowl also facing the toilet door, IE my back is facing the toilet door and the toilet w.c directly.I can't find a suitable place to place the table. Can I place a curtain to cover the toilet door? I am staying a four room hdb flat.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 9, 2011 Staff Share Posted August 9, 2011 In my opinion, it is ok if you want to do so. Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 10, 2011 Staff Share Posted August 10, 2011 Further to what I had mentioned, earlier; in my opinion, there could be a commonsense "downside" with placing a curtain to cover the toilet door. This downside has more to do with: effort or lazyness and/or hygene. Here, some people, place a curtain and then forget about it! (Install and forget).Within a few weeks, if the curtains are not frequently changed; and the curtains may be a hive of germs. And just imagine your beautiful manly or womanly face were to brush against the curtains... One can even deposit lots of germs from the curtains to your lovely face!If you don't feel comfortable, perhaps, just slam shut the toilet door. At the extreme, if it is a single leaf door; then install a auto-door spring closet to make sure that it closes every time....
