[7.] Chinese Altar: Suspended Altar Table

Dear FS Expert,
Due to space constraint, I was thinking of constructing a suspended altar table so I can place a glass study desk below for normal writing use or to place the offerings when needed.
Would like to check if it is advisable to have a suspended altar Table?
Also, may I know the height for altar table?

These are some considerations:
1. Never use a standalone piece of glass or natural stones such as a piece of marble or granite to suspend an altar.
2. The best support "beam" for an altar should be made of wood (or plywood) material.
3. This is pure commonsense. If the standalone is a piece of glass; if the glass inadvertendly cracks; all the items on the altar would come crashing down.
4. There is no issue if the base of the altar is a wooden plank and a cut-out piece of glass placed onto this wooden plank to make it easier to clean the surface of the altar is fine or ok.
5. Usually if measured from the (completed) flooring to the TOP of the suspended altar is 49 3/4 inches.

Understand that the height for altar table is 49 3/4 inches.
Can I check if there is any specific width for an altar table?

Altar Dimensions (Height, Width & Length)

Standard height for any altar: 125cm to 128cm. If a piece of glass is to be placed on the altar, then go for 125cm.

Width depends on your needs: 18cm to 23cm or 40cm to 43cm or 59.5cm to 69cm.

Length: 41cm to 43cm or 59.5cm to 69cm or 71cm or 89cm or 107cm or 148cm

In my opinion, this is not recommended. However, it is still allowable for a roof above the altar; much like an enclosed cabinet for practical reasons: to try and contain some of the "stains" from lighting up the joss sticks.

Based on common sense:

Can still be suspended. But make sure that the suspended altar table is “solid enough”

P.S. This altar will be Installed after the dimensions were discussed in a semi-detached home of a client.
