Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 16, 2012 Staff Share Posted January 16, 2012 These are some considerations:1. Frankly, Rome was not built in a day. 2. The 4 Good and 4 Bad directions is suppose to be one of the easiest concepts and theories.3. In my opinion, there are at least 6,000 forum messages on this subject alone and there tools with some guidelines.4. You said "Is it right that East is where the sun rises so that would be the East?"4.1. If this is the year 1200 A.D. or 1600 A.D. I can understand that there may not be compasses available to locate the caridinal point: East. 4.2. Hey! This is 2012 A.D. And compasses and even all maps have True North on them!4.3. So what is this caveman method of finding where the sun rises? And it also depends on which part on earth one sees the East rising sun.5. The saying goes: if you want to DIY: God helps those that help themselves.6. Frankly, as mentioned, there are lots and lots of such resources on this subject matter and you should be self-sufficient to check it out.
