These are some considerations:
1. Based on the Flying Star Theory, and based on the yearly timely stars: yes, the location that you indicated is suppose to be the water wealth location.
2. Based on the Concept of White Tiger, Green Dragon concept; West symbolises the White Tiger.
3. Thus, to be on the safe side; the water feature should not result in a "hungry" tiger's mouth. Thus avoid placing a pure circular water feature or bowl at this location as a precaution against having it symbolise the hungry mouth of the "white tiger".
4. For the location, it is preferred that the perimeter of the water feature is rectangular to avoid it like Para 3.
5. As usual, a good water feature should have all five elements: http://fountain.geomancy.net Para 2.1 to 2.12 (a ball or circular object within a rectangular holding tank, here is fine or ok).
6. Attached, showing the water wealth location #8 at West sector this year.
7. Based on a most recent posting.. some user said that the cai wei is at diagonal... for this layout plan... it does not seem or may not seem TRUE if we consider the Flying Star Feng Shuiwith the most important current water star#8. Which is located at West.Which is directly in front of the "main door" and not diagonal....

Hi Cecil
Thanks so much for the information. Are you able to provide some pictures of rectangular water features with circular object on top so that I can get the correct type?

1. As I mentioned in my first message thread...
2. Make sure that the EXTERNAL outline of the water feature e.g. such as the "container" or "vessel should not be round.
3. The link is to illustrate that a proper water feature : IRREGUARDLESS of the location should have all five elements.

Appreciate, if you can make the effort to re-read my previous posting(s).
Clue: It is not about buying an exact or "an eye for an eye" similar water feature.
What happens if you had taken the sample of the Suntec City's water feature? Do you expect to find one of these for sale for the home? YES / NO?
Again, I appeal to you RE_READ what I wrote, please.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi Cecil
I have attached 2 kinds of indoor water features that I came acrossrecently. Seems thatboth of them have the 5 elements that you are mentioning about. Would appreciate if you could review for us and advise which is more appropriate forplacing in the corner facing the main entrance.
Thanks in advance!

Please note the following (CAREFULLY)
1. Although, my sample description show similar type of water feature.
2. It does not mean that one has to follow the Jones (copy-cat) the entire design.
3. I am emphaise; re-emphaise what I wrote early: SO LONG AS A WATER FEATURE HAS ALL THE FIVE ELEMENTS GOOD ENOUGH!
4. What you showed are text-book style Feng Shui water feature.
5. BUT, if you CARE to look at it carefully; both designs DO HAVE A FLAW!
6. The best way of illustrating the flaw is the 2nd attachment.
7. Just VISUALISE, think about... the base gets smaller and smaller. Don't you think that someone may get into serious injury e.g. a child if the water feature gets TOPPLED DOWN. Even if one does not have a child, such an object especially 2nd attachment seems dangerous.
8. I am not going to elaborate further on this. As, please, please or please RE-READ my previous message or messages.
9. What is the use of following the Jones or your neighbour?
P.S. For FELLOW Singaporeans, please make sure that you bring a ruler and make sure that your dream fountain fits all the specifications mentioned in the attachment. FOR THE REST OF THE WORLD, Heck with the Singapore thing, go buy something you like! Cheers!

Our education system is famous for rote learning and erh.. but nothing else...
No wonder there are so few entrepreneurs in this City State....hmmmmmm
Please don't regurgitate; I appeal to you to re-read but no avail...sigh?
Smurfs have blue face... so whats wrong with the 2nd attachment and the full text under the 3rd attachment...
Further to what I had mentioned, earlier. The reason why the ball on top of a pedestal was shown; is because it makes a good choice to illustrate the mechanics of the Five Element concept with a water fountain. that's all.
Do take note that the way a ball rotates can symbolise wealth either coming into or going out of the home. For a rotating ball, even a tiny grain of sand or imperfection can change the rotation of the ball.
I don't want to elaborate more about the ball with the spouting water.... go think about it ......
