Adopted - Which birthdate to follow?

Hi, i just found out that i am adopted and my actual birth date differs from the one registered in the birth cert. So, for feng shui calculation, which birth date should i use? The one registered in Birth cert or the actual date i was born? Thank you very much in advance.
Next, my sleeping directions (both good and excellent) are totally opposites from my partner's directions, what should i do? If i were to sleep facing my partner's good direction, which direction that i can sleep towards? The one facing my spook or irritation position?

1. Yes, it is simply common sense that you should use your ACTUAL birth date.
1.1. In fact, in many countries, and in rural areas, often a birth gets reported several days later or even weeks later.
1.2. In Singapore, there are lots of cases where, a birth was reported many days and weeks later. Thus, it is always prudent to use one's actual birth date.
