Need cures for an office in a rec room

My husband and I just moved in to a house in February.
We both work out of the house.
My salon is in the lower level of the house in the Wealth and Prosperity section and his office/desk is located in the career section in the rec room area of the lower level. In front his desk is a hot tub that is covered and is not in use.
Directly behind him is a wood burning fireplace that also is not in use.
Also in the recroom smack dab in the middle is a pool table that we do use often. It is right beside his desk.
The pool table can't be moved nor can the fireplace.
The hot tub however will be moved we're just not sure when.
He is struggling right now with finding more work and worried about money and not enough work.
How can I cure this area for him.?
My business also isn't doing as great as it should be and I'm not sure what to do.
I have done a major space clearing before we moved our stuff in as the previous owners had just declared bankruptcy and were very depressed.
We have plants and windchimes and windows and buddhas and water fountains everywhere. I am at a bit of a loss right now as to what to do.
Any help would be great. Thank you.

If you still intend to rely or depend on Feng Shui, then frankly, there is really no point to describe the home.
What matters is thatFeng Shui is a holistic approach and involves many concepts and applications.
In addition, if you really want to DIY, then what you wrote : "We have plants and windchimes and windows and buddhas and water fountains everywhere." is disturbing.
Here, under this link; you are also one of those who when your "car" has a problem, you don't go to a workshop to get it DIAGNOSED and FIXED. Instead, you share the same fate and go to a Car Accessories Shop (Feng Shui emporium) to drown your sorrows:-

P.S. This forum is only a GENERAL advice forum. I am here to point our what may be the concern and give some directions or for you to ponder over .....

Please refer to the attachment.
The LEFT side of the table is based on a holistic approach to Feng Shui. Not even one single bit of this area is covered by you.
However, your current cures and actions lean towards the RED zone or the FAR RIGHT side of the table. And the title is simply called "BULLSHIT"
Yet, somehow, you hope to find a magic cure, just like that? This is Utopian.
