Staff Cecil Lee Posted October 19, 2012 Staff Share Posted October 19, 2012 Many new condo developments today have interior walls that come with dry walls. For example: The Sail, Livia and recently TOP Caspian and also 8@Woodleigh.All other developers should take a page or example from the Sales Brochure of Naung Residence. Where under 3.0 WALLS Internal Wall : concret wall and/or brickwall and/or precast wall While many other brochures are not clearly written. Please see attachments. This is because given that many new condo units nowadays come with internal walls that are dry-walls. Where often it can be a disappointment when someone wanted to mount a TV onto a wall but could not as dry-walls don't provde such a solid support. For example: CDL Properties: Livia condo first came with such dry walls. What a disappointment. As several years back I was also surprised that their (Livia) toilet walls are also dry walls. You pay so much and yet.. get such dry walls.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 24, 2017 Author Staff Share Posted April 24, 2017 Best Buy... Or rather "left-overs" Not Best Buy after all. 999 leaseholds usually are 777 years shelf-life... but better than 99's Erh? Do I still get the 4 percent vicinity discount? Even if I stay in the city? Agent: Can, can, can... in a meek desperate tone.. Just buy, buy and buy, lah!
Staff Cecil Lee Posted October 2, 2017 Author Staff Share Posted October 2, 2017 “New HDB flats with flexible layouts” A term which simply means “we are using drywalls in your flat too!” In the last few years; many new HDB flats has play catch-up with the condominiums and ECs. To make it sound nicer; the use of drywall’s has led to a nicer sounding theme: “New HDB flats with flexible layouts” This is to say that all older HDB flats inner walls were once constructed with hollow-bricks or pre-cast concrete slabs. But today, I have come across many new HDB estates using such dry walls: Ang Mo Kio, Sengkang, Punggol, Yishun and many other new estates.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 9, 2020 Author Staff Share Posted April 9, 2020 Okay, this is year 2020. And it is common for many new flats to have drywall’s for their interior walls. Seems the norm today.
