In my opinion, in general, under Shapes and Forms, this type of layout is not "ideal".

As to whether this funnel shaped triangle "aborbs Qi" etc... ; frankly QI FLOWis about the FLOW of Qi within the interior in relation to the furniture(s) e.g. partition if any; plus windows that are opened, closed or partially opened.
Thus, off-hand, such "claims" you mentioned cannot be justified.

This development has a distinctive funnel shape.
In fact, as I mentioned, one needs to do a proper triage.
A client had moved in to a unit (see sample attachment) for three years and I last spoke to them, were doing very well. In fact, he calls me for annual adjustment. The unit is bigger than the one you posted to the forum.
In fact, in the past, there are several clients who had upgraded, to other developments from this development.
Frankly, very few homes are "gone case" type.
