Staff Cecil Lee Posted January 15, 2010 Staff Share Posted January 15, 2010 The three storey Adelphi Hotel shifted the third time tothis location at Number 3 Coleman Street. And was there until it permanently closed in 1973. It's last business day was on 25 June 1973. It was considered as Singapore's oldest hotel. The entire building was totally demolised in 1980. And five years later, a smaller office-shopping complex replaced this old grand dame. What a pity! In my opinion: Today, this site is not exactly "clean". As some units.... have sightings of...
