myfs_142207
Hi, I purchased the premium report and still having trouble with understanding my career/industry with my element. I work in Aerospace & Defense industry...currently working as a embedded software engineer. Please clarify the element associated with it as well as the meaning behind it. I guess the embedded software engineer is Metal/water both and the industry is fire for defense and metal for aerospace? thanks,George
Staff Cecil Lee Posted March 12, 2014 Staff Share Posted March 12, 2014 These are some considerations: 1. For example, a CEO. He can be in-charge of many departments e.g. Accounting & Finance (metal), Marketing and Sales (Fire), Public Relations (Fire). 2. But ultimately his main CORE function is to GROW the company = Wood element. 3. So, other the industry that you are in; what are your core skills? You have ask yourself. What is your main or chief function. For example if you are suppose to develop a software or fine-tune it or make it work; then most likely "programming" or water element. 3.1. If you are there to SELL software then Fire element. 4. Nowadays, what it means that the industry one is in; may not be purely what are your core areas. So what value are you to your company? Of course, everyone can do a little of this and that. But what is the CORE?
