myfs_159106
Hi Sir.Good day to you.I am having trouble on what color to select in painting my main door. Our main door faces north but our house faces east (Facing Direction). I said east because it is at this direction were yang energy is more abundant and present. My concern is what guide to follow in selecting the color in painting the main door. Do I have to select Blue/Black for North or paint it Green for East?.Hope you can clarify the matter.Thank you very much and God bless you always. Staff Cecil Lee Posted May 20, 2014 Staff Share Posted May 20, 2014 In the early century and even up to the 1970's; many geomancers practised what is known as "kindergarten" Feng Shui. Here, East = Green; North = blue / grey / black. But today, Feng Shui takes into consideration the Flying Stars for each sector. Please see attached sample illustration. Here, this sector is located at West. And the Flying Star numbers are considered. For example, under this sector there are a combination of Mountain star #9 with Water star #3. Due to the inauspicious #3 star located at that sector; if you see the recommended colours: GREEN is not ideal; here. Thus, imagine IF this is the main door area; green should be avoided. In each bedroom, the same process is looked into. With an added consideration: the person or combined person's best colours are also considered in addition to what was mentioned above. Here, this is how Compass School: Flying Star Feng Shui is applied.Contrast this with : North = Blue / black or grey ; South = Red , East = Green etc... Here, this is considered too general, today. Most likely, if someone where to tell you about this in the Year 1970, one would be impressed with this reasoning. But Hey! This is the 2014! And this is too rudimentary... Might as well say: go throw a dice: Heads = paint Blue. Tails = paint Green?
