Staff Cecil Lee Posted October 18, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 18, 2015 Feng Shui of Westwood Residences Executive Condo (EC) This condo is the first in Singapore with a "bicycle" theme in mind. The overall Feng Shui of Westwood Residences EC: 1. This development has stacks that either face NE, SW, NW and SE. 2. Thus majority of the stacks are considered under the Compass School to be more suitable to the West group persons (NE, SW and NW). 2.1. And just one facing direction of SE for the East group person. But, this is not exactly good news. 2.2 As majority of the SE facing stacks have their kitchen at the dreaded "Fire at Heaven's gate". This can affect the male breadwinner's career and also overall luck from heaven. As when the "stove" is turned on" it is literally burning one's "Heaven luck". 3. Best Stacks are 18 and 21. Stack 17 can be considered but the side of the wall as shown in purple can have afternoon sun soaking into the walls. This depends however,on the thickness of this wall; may ooze out heat into e.g. the master bedroom. These stacks are facing the landed property side. 4. Stackings facing the service road and the ramp leading in and out of the development: 4.1 Especially on low floors stacks 27, 28, 31, 32, 35and partial 36 has theentry / exit ramp / service road thus poorerShapes and Forms Feng Shui 4.2 In addition many of the stacks facing SE eg. stacks 4, 8, 12, 11, 16, 27, 28, 31, 32, 35 and 36 may be affected by the inauspious Fire at Heaven's gate as their kitchen are located within this area. Staff Cecil Lee Posted October 18, 2015 Staff Share Posted October 18, 2015 Part 2: Feng Shui of Westwood Residences EC & Sha Qi or poison arrows from neighbouring blocks sharp corners 1. Please see attached illustration. 2. One will notice that because there are gaps in between blocks; these gaps means that sharp corners of blocks/stacks could aim sha qi or poison arrows to each other. 3. Secondly, this is a relatively small development: thus the various blocks/stacks are in CLOSE PROXIMITY to each other. 4. Take a look at especially the RED arrow heads. These are suppose to be potential poison arrows - if they are aimed into a home through an opening such as a window or balcony silding doors. 5. Thus, in reality; when the flat has TOP; it is best to stand at such opening(s) and look out directly to confirm if there are any sharp corners aimed at one's unit or not. 6. For example: stack 16's sharp corner MAY be aimed towards an opening (if any) of stack 24. Or stack 15's corner towards stack 19 etc... 7. Please note that there are more poison arrows. For example: stack 29's sharp corner aimed towards stack 12 etc... that are not shown in the attachment. 7.1 Therefore, please note that the attached illustration is to allow one to have a better understanding of sha qi or poison arrows. Felix Lim
Hi Cecil, As mentioned in part 1, stack 17 is one of the favourable stack. However, it is facing a slow on-coming traffic road (dead-end road) of the landed property (Please refer to attached google map photo). There is a buffer area (showflat carpark currently) in-between belonging to Nparks for future park usage. Some say such dead-end road with on-coming traffic, would invite poison arrow to the resident. The road stretch for around 50m before bending slightly to the right. Would facing such dead-end road render the units in stack 17 undesirable? Would unjt floors (Low/Mid/High) make a difference? Thank you in advance for your kind advice. Best Regards, Felix
Staff Cecil Lee Posted October 19, 2016 Author Staff Share Posted October 19, 2016 Thanks for the photo. These are some considerations: 1. It is good that you go on-site to view your potential property. 2. As nowadays, majority of HDB Sales Brochure Site-map invites all potential purchasers to go on-site to view the property. 3. Common sense. And because of common sense some link this to Feng Shui 3.1. Under common sense. The question asked is: if a vehicle suddenly goes out of control or a drunken driver drives straight instead of stopping. 3.2. Here, would the vehicle endanger someone's life when the vehicle literally ploughs through and perhaps infringe into the development's property : either causing hurt to someone or damages structural / supporting column(s) 3.3. If the answer to the above is No. then no issue. 3.4. In the photo; there are massive concrete bollards spaced at intervals to hopefully stop cars in it's track. 4. Since you have this concern; there will certainly be many others who are equally concerned it. 4.1. Thus, if one has invited say 10 relatives/friends and if 4 of them concur that this is most likely a concern; it no longer matters with what I have to say under Para 3. 4.2. If one is the nervous type and cannot take such comments even if it is not exactly "true" then, best to avoid buying such a stack. Especially avoid the lower stacks or even higher levels totally. Staff Cecil Lee Posted October 19, 2016 Author Staff Share Posted October 19, 2016 In addition, for developments that have a central bin at each level; should always get the Sales Agent to confirm with the developer. Especially since "ouch" even if it is not Feng Shui; may certainly hurt the future resale value. For example, if a future potential buyer engages a Geomancer, most certainly it may become a no sale to this person or the sale price gets hammered down

Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 18, 2017 Author Staff Share Posted April 18, 2017 May affect future resale value. For example, if a potential buyer may bring along their geomancer. Staff Cecil Lee Posted December 1, 2017 Author Staff Share Posted December 1, 2017 Just maybe the architect cum designer of this project got their inspiration from The landed properties in Lorong Kismis This is the access gate for entry to each block: or is it the inspiration came from The Rail in Bukit Timah.. Staff Cecil Lee Posted December 1, 2017 Author Staff Share Posted December 1, 2017 The Floravale These photos were taken from the Male “open air” toilet” at Westwood residences towards The Floravale blocks 226 and 228:- This means that the 2nd and ground floor units of block 226 is directly facing this open air toilet. While many units at block 228 can look down into this open air toilet. Of course the urinals could not be seen. But one may see a head and shoulders ... of the person using the urinals.. Let’s hope the foliage of the plants grow dense and healthy.. It may affect the resale value of the flats as the balcony of these stacks at The Floravale faces the toilets ..of Westwood residence. Blicks 226 and 228 once face an empty plot of land. But not only had to endure construction noise and dusts.. but also this... Thus sometimes better to buy unit’s looking onwards of the development.. at least you know what is and will be expected today and in the future.
