myfs_160521
Hi I'm curious to know if you have to dot the eyes of other animals other than dragons when displaying them in your house.I recently made a plaster mould stag head and painted it to hang in my office would it be correct to paint the eyes on at a certain time as well? Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 10, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 10, 2015 1. In my opinion, unless there is a specific "ceremony" or religious ceremony; or performed by a priest or high priest; 2. Otherwise, any ordinary folk painting a figurine or even "painting" the eyes does not constitute the above para 1.3. Thus, in essence, any "Tom, Dick or Harry" that paints an eye on an object is a non-issue and does not convey a "religious" purpose.
