Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 7, 2015 Staff Share Posted August 7, 2015 Question: Can I do the first time open door procedure before the 7th month. And during the 7th month continue with the renovations. Is it ok to choose an auspicious date that is suitable to one partner but average for the other.Reply:1. The concern of the 7th month is that when one leaves a home vacant; some are afraid that the "hungry ghosts" may come and live in the home. And if one suddenly disturbs them, they get "angry". But see Para 2 below2. Thus, it is a good idea to start renovations and continue during the 7th month. Here, the hungry ghosts are also like humans; if there are lots of noise and construction, they will not want to "come in".3. No issue to select a date that is auspicious only to one person for first time open door or start of renovations. But, for the more important Move-in; best to chose a good that for both. Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 30, 2023 Author Staff Share Posted July 30, 2023 Hi Cecil, hope all is going well for u. As shared with you previously that I will continue to rent out the riversound unit. With that, when I go and take over my unit from the current tenant, I don’t need to do any door opening ceremony right? Since it will be rented out to new tenants. I will only need to do the door opening ceremony when we are planning to stay there right? [Name hidden}, no need to do any procedures. Since this is a continuous rental unit
Staff Cecil Lee Posted July 30, 2023 Author Staff Share Posted July 30, 2023 Feng Shui suffers a bad reputation, today. Many Feng Shui Masters are a Feng Shui Store. Their core business is not authentic Feng Shui. But rather making big bucks by selling lots of useless commercial products in the name of Feng Shui. Please give me a good reason not to buy such products. Here's one: Okay, the above was written prior to the knowledge of COV-19. Here’s to another reason, why. Many Feng Shui Masters and their shops are FAKES! On Saturday, 14 March 2020, a WhatsApp from a past client P.S. Frankly, I was just being extremely polite. Actually if one got the hint, as the British always say just throw the "bloody" thing away!
Staff Cecil Lee Posted October 1, 2023 Author Staff Share Posted October 1, 2023 ITS PURE COMMON SENSE Why we had never recommend sprinkling salt especially all over the house? With the exception that if you want, may consider only the toilets. Found this notice at several lift lobbies of HDB Plantation Grange Blks 133A & 133B… recently T.O.P. ++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++ Notice to residents at HDB Plantation Grange during it’s T.O.P. In September 2023: Salts Sprinkled on Floorings We observed that some residents have sprinkled saits on the foors as part door opening ceremony. When salts are left unattended over time, it will melt and damage the floor tiles or vinyl floors. We would like to advise residents to quickly remove the salts from the floorings at the earliest opportunity. If you require any clarification, please visit Building Service Centre at BIk 133C or call us at + 65 xxxxxxx. Thank you. Staff Cecil Lee Posted October 24, 2023 Author Staff Share Posted October 24, 2023 Master, can I ask the fruit which we prepared and placed at Center of living room after we first time Open Door, can we keep the fruit after one day? Or must wait 3 days ? Minimum placement is at least one hour after doing the full 1st time open door procedure. Thus if you completed the procedure at say 9am. Then must leave it there till at least 10 plus am. If non urgency, then leave for THREE days. But if want to start renovations ASAP, then do the above.
