myfs_155783
Hello Mr.Lee,Wonder if a house can create mental blockage to the owners. I went house hunting with a friend who was looking for a house. This is a high end house with over 2000 sq ft and a high price tag. There are 3 trees (not bushes and trees are taller than a person) planted and arranged in a cluster in front of the house about 20 feet. Inside the front entrance there is a wall in about 10 feet away. The wall is created because there is the stairs going parallel to the front door. I felt that when I walked it, I was blocked by the wall. When I walked out, I was blocked by the trees. For a 2000 sq ft house, I would hope to have a more spacious foyer. On the outside, there is a dam and a walking trail farther away from the front. When facing the house, to the right is a house of similar size. To the left is a house stood taller. I would think it might be better the other way around. In additional, my friend and her husband belong to west house and the front entrance is facing east. Since I am no expert in feng shui, I share here hoping to some insight from you, Mr.Lee. Thank you.
Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 24, 2015 Staff Share Posted August 24, 2015 These are some considerations: 1. It is best to do a scientific triage. 1.1. What you mentioned is based purely on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. In order?to apply this properly, if the evaluator is not on the ground to study the situation; sometimes : a photo tells a thousand words. 1.2. This is because, sometimes contrary to a lay person; what you had described: the wall at the front entrance; this may not even be the "FRONTAGE" under both Shapes and Forms and?Flying Stars Feng Shui. 1.2.1 Especially if the house opens to a beautiful "backyard" etc... So you may in fact be describing about the "rear of the house" instead. 2. Flying Star Feng Shui can zoom in on areas where it may be prone to "mental issues" or blockages. Usually the "guilty" stars are often those of the #3 and/or #4 Flying Star numbers. 3. In this very old illustration; under Period 6; the SE or living room area has bad combination of "mental stress" related stars like MS#8 with WS#4. 4. Here, Flying Stars is used to both identify and cure or disarm such bad sectors. Fortunately, this example is not a major consider from now to 2023 as this is the Period 8 and at this moment #8 = auspicious outweighs the bad luck of #4. But after 2023, that is a different matter all together.
