Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 1, 2016 Staff Share Posted April 1, 2016 HDB Tampines GREENweave sits on the virgin Tampines North land which once upon a time was pure "greenery". But a recent visit to CityLife EC, I took photos of this vast plot of land. And what I see was all the greenery was torn down. And closest to CityLife EC was another HDB u/c development also has the "Green" in it i.e. HDB Tampines GREENridges. HDB Tampines GREENweave sits on a rectangular plot of land. However, to the "bottom" left of this plot of land are two plots reserved for a nursing home and medical facility. Often this detracts or hurts it's future resale value especially stacks/units that has a view of either and/or the medical facility and/or the nursing home. On the other hand HDB Tampines GREENweave also sits on a rectangular plot of land with the exception of blocks 601A and 601B at the noisy Tampines Ave 9 arterial road. Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 1, 2016 Staff Share Posted April 1, 2016 Case Study: HDB Tampines Greenweave and Flying Star Feng Shui 1. Majority of the stacks in this development either face N2 or S2 directions. 2. With the exception of stacks 412, 414, 416, 418, 420, 422, 428 & 430 facing NW2. 3. While stacks 404, 406, 408, 410, 424, 426, 432 & 434 facing SE2. 3.1. N2. Stacks/Units has the double auspicious #8's wasted at the "back" of the unit. Thus not as favourable. 3.2. S2. Stacks are the best stacks for a East group person. As both frontage enjoys the double auspicious #8 wealth stars. And furthermore their facing directions has water. Bring great wealth. 4. Attached, please find a sample illustration of a Flying Star Period 8, S2 chart. 4.1. In the attachment: it is advantages for the [8] & [8] which symbolises : Prosperity, good wealth at the frontage of the home. Vs a N2 facing where this good stars are wasted at the "rear" which is usually the kitchen/yard area. 4.2. The only concern for a S2 facing chart is that so often, the kitchen may be located at NW sector. Which in Feng Shui is called: "Fire at Heaven's Gate". And this can affect the male breadwinner's career luck. 4.3. Thus for a South facing (S2) best to select a unit where the kitchen is either at North or North-east sector is preferred. 4.4. NW2 Has the auspicious water wealth #8 at it's frontage. Good if the balcony/living room faces a pool of water. If not can consider placing a water feature at the balcony to activate it. 4.5. Other than this, the rest of the sectors on this home has inbalances. 4.6. If the master bedroom or a bedroom is located at West sector of the home: be careful of frequent sickness 4.7. SE 2 facing has the water wealth star at it's frontage. Thus, it would be good if the unit faces a pool of water. Or enhanced with a water feature at the balcony area of the living room. 4.8. The rest of the stars in other sectors are inauspicious. And may need to be disarmed 4.9. Good, if the rear of the house has a "mountain" support. Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 10, 2019 Author Staff Share Posted November 10, 2019 Case Study: S2 facing stacks in HDB Greenweave often either has it's kitchen at NE or NW compass direction. 1. Should I be too concerned if my kitchen is at NW? 2. This related link has resources on kitchen at NW or "Fire at Heaven's Gate". 2.1. Does it affect everyone? This is a good reason to study the block plan before committing to the purchase of a unit. I do hope that the same does not happen at:- Case Study 6: Potential to see the common bin lobby/bins? 1. Usually, HDB common corridors have half walls at marking in Blue A. 2. However, if like some of the recent HDB flats, there is a possibility that in Green B could be railings to let the common bin area have an airy field. 2.1. If so, an adult standing at the front door stack #142 may have a view of the common bin. 3. It is a kind of a red herring. Given that it ain't that nice-to do so. 3.1. And also in the future, it may or may not affect re-sale of the unit. 4. It also could apply to stacks #110 and #126. In fact, stacks #112, #128 and #144 may also have the same possibility of standing at the front door and a view into the common bin lobby.
