cosmosbuddha
I have heard conflicting points on whether or not to include a garage and deck (or other space one doesn't live in) while placing the Bagua. We have an oddly shaped home with our three seasons room that extends out and garage that is attached. Curious as to input on how to apply the Bagua here? I believe this would effectively create a missing sector in a couple places. Thanks!
Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 4, 2017 Staff Share Posted April 4, 2017 1. I hope the Bagua template is not one of those: North = career, SW = romance... 1.1 As by the infamous words of Trump = fake ... 2. Please do note that not every thing has only to do with missing areas. In fact, more often, there maybe protrusions. 3. In my opinion, I would consider this: 3.1 Actual area is A. I don't know what 3 Seasons is about. If it is a useable room then might consider or include B. C should not be considered. For others, this may be considered a protrusion. cosmosbuddha
Hi Cecil, Thanks for your insight! I had been using the Black Hat technique, do you recommend otherwise? Most of the literature I have uses that approach. The colors against your recommendations are a bit confusing, so to clarify: 1. You're saying to omit the deck and three seasons room? 2. You're saying to omit the garage? The 3 seasons room has plants and a hammock and is used but largely during Spring and Summer, it is also the primary pass through for when we take our dogs out and the way we typically access our yard. I agree that livable space is what should primarily be attended to, but every other source I can find says to include anything that is attached, including garages and decks... Thoughts? I have attached what I believe you are suggesting. Thanks again, Sean Bagua 01.pdf
Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 5, 2017 Staff Share Posted April 5, 2017 Since you are still trying to compare Black Hat Sect (BTB) with Traditional, there is nothing further for me to comment. BLACK SECT MASTER LIN YUN BREAKS HIS OWN HALO BY SAYING, “YOU’RE BETTER OFF BELIEVING YOURSELF INSTEAD OF BELIEVING ME.” He Admits That 99.9% Of His Predictions Have Been Wrong. July 7, 1997, Taipei, Taiwan. As this country continues to reel from back-to-back scandals involving its political leaders and their spiritual advisors, the guru of the so-called Black Sect, Master Lin Yun, surrounded by his students and followers in the Presidential Suite of the Hyatt, Taipei, admits in a shocking interview of self-denouncement, “The best advice I can offer is to tell you that you are better off believing yourself instead of believing me. I am a wandering impostor whose predictions have been 99.9% wrong.” He cited his 1994 prediction that Li Deng Qui would not be renominated to the presidency of Taiwan (not only was he renominated, he was reelected). He sheepishly shrugged, “My record of successes is very poor.” “People call me the Grand Master when, in fact, I am the Grand Disappointment.” Born in Beijing, and raised in Taijung, Lin Yun studied and loosely based his Black Sect cult on Tibetan beliefs. He told of how he was ostracized in Taiwan for combining elements of Taoism, Feng Shui, Yin Yang, fortunetelling, psychology, medicine, color theory and construction into his own brand of Feng Shui. He lamented, “My biggest mistake in life was to study religion.” He would not name names, but he did add that he has given Feng Shui advice to many highly placed officials in the Taiwanese government. Although his Black Sect beliefs have been widely rejected in Asia, Lin Yun has found a more receptive following in the West, where he has a temple each in California and New York. When contacted for comment, Lin Yun’s church released a statement saying that “Westerners do not understand.” When it was pointed out that the statement did not seem to have a bearing on the situation — the article came from a Chinese paper and was transcribed by ethnic Chinese into English — church officials were confused. Finally, the church resorted to its standard explanation that Lin Yun was once again misquoted. This “living Buddha” (Da Shi) of the Black Sect church has a long-standing history of being misquoted. He needs to hire experienced media and communications specialists (“spin doctors”), or take a course in effective communication himself — because the only people who seem to understand him to the church’s satisfaction are his sycophants. cosmosbuddha
Thanks for your insight. I intend to stick to the Black Hat Sect school of thought and perhaps add some more traditional influence. My challenge is if it is ineffective, why does it dominate the market (at least in the West)? Nearly every single practitioner I have spoken with subscribes to it. Sean Case Study: Of some Americans Practising Double-Standards: Where they condone FAKES sold especially in Asian countries but knowing FAKE Feng Shui, yet, consume it on their shores. LOL! Hope that is likely an exception! FAKES DOMINATE & SO POPULAR IN THESE COUNTRIES. DOES NOT MEAN THAT ONE MUST FOLLOW THE CROWD AND BUY FAKES RIGHT? IN THAILAND, BEIJING - CHINA, MALAYSIA, VIETNAM & INDONESIA ETC... In Thailand, Oh Dear! FAKE FENG SHUI also want to buy! Also in Beijing In Malaysia, KL Chinatown In Indonesia, Not likely for at least the next 10 years or more, will FAKE products ever be weeded out in Asia. Equally, with gullible Americans, FAKE Feng Shui will always thrive in their country! P.S. No wonder, there are some who feel that Americans do practice DOUBLE- STANDARDS.
