Where once these doors opened to allow fire trucks to speed to their scene; the frontage is sunken and now occupied by a five foot walk-way with railings... 1960’s map of Singapore Shopping the location of the former Geylang Fire Station. Roads like Lorong Engku Aman was flatten. And now sits the Paya Lebar Quarter. While the MRT station and Paya Lebar Square is upstream. Only Jalan Afridi is still around where the Certis Cisco HQ stands. The Wak Tanjong Mosque is still there. Part of it is undergoing renovations and repair works.
